They were now in the car in front of the pharmacy. Rein bought an ointment for Liam. Liam had already rejected his offer earlier to visit the hotel's medic, so she accepted Rein's persuasion to apply ointment on her swollen cheeks.
The man was very taciturn and gave no further room for rejection, saying that he would apply the ointment himself.
Liam felt it was not needed.
"It's okay. I can apply it myself later."
Reinhart narrowed his eyes. "You have the tendency to hurt yourself out of nowhere. How can I trust that you will put the ointment afterwards?"
Liam smiled helplessly, took the ointment from Reinhart's hand, and opened it.
"Alright, I'm putting it on now."
Reinhart was satisfied after seeing her apply it on her own cheeks.
Liam chuckled. She found it amusing to see the man so serious in having her put the ointment on as if it was a major task.
"Why are you laughing again?"
