Liam put Eleven in front of Lord Avian.
The red bird who was upset earlier was wholly focused on the tablet. He was watching a cartoon show with intoxicated eyes.
Liam narrowed her eyes. She flicked the little bird's forehead lightly.
"Hey, it is time to earn your keep."
Lord Avian scowled, raised his wings, and pushed Liam's finger away from his face. He kept watching the screen. "After this episode."
Liam found it amusing that such a tiny feathered figure could make a very human expression.
How was he able to do that with two bead-like eyes and a beak?
Liam: "No, work has to go first. Right now."
Lord Avian: "Later."
Liam: ….
She tapped the pause button on the screen.
"Ah! What happened?! Why did it stop? What did you do?!"
Liam then tapped the resume button.
The show continued.
Lord Avian was stunned.
