That interview invitation letter had successfully shut up everyone in the office. "Since I have not breached the contract, there is no reason for Director Xu to terminate it. Right?" A small smile adorned Shen Yue's lips. Her voice was full of provocation.

Back in her office, Zhao Mi was cursing as she paced up and down. "That b*tch, who knew she had such dirty tricks under her sleeve!"
At this point, she received a call. The caller's ID made check her tone before picking up. "Lady Shen Jingjing, how came you cared to personally call me?" Zhao Mi tone was milder, enriched with blatant flattery.
However, Shen Jingjing was someone who was used to people flattery. A small manager's words couldn't bring as much as a smile on the face. Instead, she frowned. "Have you done what I have asked you for?" She cut the chase and spoke the point.
Hearing this, Zhao Mi felt a shudder.
During the past month, Zhao Mi had been unable t suppress Shen Yue.
In the beginning, Shen Yue used to be very cooperative, complying without whatever outrageous offers she brought for her.
But roughly a month ago, she had started showing her defiance.
Zhao Mi wondered whether it was because Shen Yue had somehow come to know about her collaboration with Shen Jingjing to keep freezing Shen Yue.

No, it was not possible. She had been very secretive of the whole process, how came that Shen Yue now?
"Lady Shen Jingjing, that Shen Yue is truly outrageous. She thinks too highly of herself. She has no talent yet she is unwilling to comply with my directions and take minor roles!" Zhao Mi tried to provoke Shen Jinjing against Shen Yue in order to get her to do something about her.
"How can she go on without accepting any job from the company?"
"She can't! That's why today I brought the issue to the director but at the last minute, she appeared in the office claiming to have been accepted for an interview invitation for a new drama series."
"Oh, well." Shen Jingjing sneered. Her cousin was surely trying her. But as her competitor and future threat to her inheritance, there was no way Shen Jingjing would let her succeed. "Make sure she doesn't pass the interview. Regarding her future, keep her under you. I do not want her to join another company then ascend. You understand what I am saying, right?"
"Yes, Miss Shen!" Zhao Mi replied.

After assorting everything up regarding the Drama Series 'Legends of the Tainted Princess.', Shen Yue headed out of her room in the dormitory. The dormitory had assigned personal rooms for artiste and managers.
