Long years ago a very notorious and known for being a great leader of a pack ruled the Dark forest. Many kinds of werefolks shapeshifters and faries dwells there in harmony before and comply with the rules strictly.
But rebellion broke out the treaty among the creatures in the dark forest each leader think they are higher than other race then began an all out war. The Silver moon tribe who reigned the forest since it was created were wiped out their story become legends to those followers and just a bunch of disgusting and a laughing thing to those haters.
But the blood of their race still lives on to one of the tribes of shapeshifters. Their difference from other shifters are their ability to perform blessing among their kin and their built was mastiff, coated with majestic aura, towering 6 ft Tall and beyond, have pair of glowing full moon eyes. that can see through the tiniest object from hundred miles, Have an ombre color fur, and sharp ears that could hear the faintest breath, the flapping sound of a mosquito from hundred miles. that's why the other clans deemed them a threat to everyone. Though their DNA were dormant on the latest generation it still lingers on the surface. Now the werewolf pride treat them like trash and think they are the lowest kind among them. Disregarding their ancestors as founders of the dark forest they wish never exist.
"ditestables!" scoffed the old granny willow she is the only descendant of the silver moon now the chieftain. Many generation have past and until today no one has the ability to summon their ancient spirit beast. "another failure" she disappointedly left the room. Where the children was having their awakening ritual. At the age of 9 they will awaken their spirit beast and will be able to fully tranform when they turn 16 and at the age of 18 they will meet their mates. And the generation goes on.
Now the werewolves rule over the dark forest as they are the nastiest and merciless clan. they make every rules in dark forest the way they like it. taking advantage of others.
Lilith she's 15 years old and unable to feel her spirit beast they thought she was a defect with her blood tainted with so many mixed race. Her mother has a blood of silver moon and quater blood of werewolf while her father was a fairy who has half blood of werewolf. Her family was executed when she was a child for having tainted blood. The werewolf pride alpha burned their home thinking everyone was killed but lilith is the only survivor left with only scar on her face and on her back from a fallen timber. Grannie willow saw the incident and could only watch the scene with heartache her mother was her great grand daughter. But the new rules wouldnt let her do anything to save them. At that moment she was determined to achieve the prophecy that one of the younger generation awaken with the power of the ancient kitsune to be deemed TRUE RULER of the dark forest but each time a dike was found with even the faintest aura of the ancient kitsune the werewolf alpha would kill it.
"lilith come let's go back home" granny willow called out the child and she escorted her back home. The old lady sighed in depression she's afraid she will never witness the day the true ruler will descend. Her time is running out.
"granny why is my spirit beast wont wake? Do i have one? Am i really one of your kin?" she asked with curiosity usually she never ask about it and feel nonchalant when this topic pops. The old lady looked at her with pity she held her hand and smiled.
When you were a child about 5 yrs old your spirit awaken it was earlier than the usual hence being premature your spirit stayed dormant we dont know when it will be really awaken." she explained so it's not like lilith doesnt have spirit beast it's just stayed dormant for years. "how will i know when it's truly awaken?" her brow shot up and innocence carved in her face. Granny willow let of a soft giggle upon seeing her.
"you will feel it here" she said pointing at her chest "when the heart beats like drums and your body feels lighter your senses getting sharper that's when it's truly awaken. Dont worry my dear you're still young. You still have a long journey ahead" she chuckles and sat on her rocking chair to rest.
Lilith couldnt hold her excitement and squeezed her chest, she can feel her heart pounding crazily and the thought of being awaken fill her with great joy... In a few months she will be 16 others will start having changes and can shift into their spirit beast while lilith feels like she will soon truly awaken hers.
