It has been only a week since my family, Sam and I moved down to Texas for work. My grandfather started a small heating oil company back in the 1930's in upstate New York in the Buffalo area. Starting off with just a single pedal truck*, the company expanded out though the northeast from Maine to Pennsylvania and out to Ohio. With this growing success came the eyes of bigger companies, and we were bought out by a bigger company. Even with the the new found cash this was not to satisfy my father's greed. with this the move to Texas for greater wealth began.

Our family decided to take a big risk buying a new off shore drilling platform in hopes of stricking it rich off of a huge oil vain. It was also decided that we would by some fields to have a steady flow of production before the main launch of the off shore rig would commence.
