As we passed through the portal to that dimension we felt the heat on us, we start walking around and explore the sheriff told us to "stick together" and "this isn't the same town I knew" so we spit in to teams of 3 people me, Valeria, and Yareni made a group, the sheriff told us to meet up in the middle of the town once we are done so we went off to ask around but no luck because every time we asked about Travis they would shut us out, out of fear after we ask the last of the people around we started to explore the buildings,"is he that bad" said Yareni, "I guess" I responded, I continued saying "but one thing I don't understand is that why is the sheriff hiding I mean he still hasn't told us his name". "Yea are we sure we can trust him? I have a bad feeling about this" Valeria said. As we continued the search two people that look like they are in there 80s that wanted our attention. So we cautiously made our way to them, the old man told us,"I heard you where asking around to get more information on the town". Yareni hesitated before saying,"w-well yes w-we are, w-we're Trying to help the town". "Then head inside I have something to show you" the old lady whispered, so we followed them to their basement that was filed with old antiques and one of the antiques was a book that had information to the town, the old man told us "in order to save this town you must found the Gems that when combined with a ritual, they will have the power to get rid of Neo the evil spirit that paused this town and is planning to take over this and the other dimensions". "How can we retrieve the Gems and the ritual" asked Yareni, "for the ritual you have to retrieve it from the 5 monsters that are guarding them and the gems well some people will lose their lives for the gems like this one"the old man explained and hands it to me. "why a soul?" I asked, he said, "the gods that are in charge of the gems love sacrifices". "Damn they are that cruel?" I said, "sadly, yes they are", "well should we go now?" Asked Valeria, the old man told us, "yes you should and take to book with you it will give you the information you need to stop that evil spirit". "Ok thank you," we said, so we got out with the book in hand and we went to go meet up with everyone else and as we walk to middle of the town I see Mark look suspicious and he wasn't with his group so I told my group that I was going to catch up with them and that there was something I had to do. So I walk towards Mark to talk to him, "hey, Mark was it?" In surprise he said, "u-uh yea it is". I said "My name in Alejandro it's nice to meet you", "Y-yea it's nice to meet you to" Mark replied. *"he seems like he's hiding something I got to find out what"*, "s-so should we be heading to the middle of the town" Mark said, "oh uh yea" I replied. As we met up with I could get out of my head that he knows something, "alright is everyone here" said the sheriff "looks like it" said Jazz "alright everyone follow me" said the sheriff. As we did Yareni pulled me aside and asked "what's bothering you Ale", I replied "you know Mark I think he's hiding something he's acting suspicious", She said "you noticed that to?" "Yea I did" I replied. When we got the destination we were confused at why we were at a tree in a random forest but once the sheriff pulled the lever there were secret stairs heading down. We followed the sheriff down to were it looked like part lounge, part Arcade, part café it was amazing, "this is where we can take a broke and discuss anything we want here" said the sheriff "oh like this book we got from and old couple" said Yareni, "oh yea the book that has the information that we need to save the town" I shouted in excitement "oh and didn't we get the brown gem from the old couple?" I said, Yareni said "oh yea here it is". "Why is it shaped like that" Jen point out, "let's see" said Yareni, "oh look there's the page" I said, Yareni begins to read it "it says that -in order to get a gem there will have to sacrifice Someone in return and there are 8 gems in total in 8 different dimensions- so minus the one we have there are 7 gems out there." "Oh I saw that orange gem on Travis before things went ballistic and I escaped" said the sheriff, "and look once we put them all together they form a flower" said Eleni, "the next one that we are going to need it the blue one" said Yareni, I asked "ok then where are we going to get it". Yareni read that the portals where in the forest and we found the portals once we see the symbol of a flower, so soon enough we went to go find the portals and in 30 minutes we found them. "That was easy" said Sean, so we all went in to the blue portal and when we went in it looked like an aquarium so we started to explore but that didn't last long because the ruler for that dimension was a mermaid she had mermen guards gather us, "what are you doing here useless humans" said the mermaid, "w-we a-are here for the blue gem a town is in trouble" I said to her, she replied with "ah yes I heard that the orange dimension was in trouble". "S-so will you help us?" I asked, she said "sure I'll help you, IF you give me a sacrifice", "o-ok w-what do you want for a sacrifice" I said nervously, she said "I want a human soul", "I was afraid of that" I said. "How do you want that sacrifice served" asked the sheriff, she said "I want 2 people to go in a challenge oh ever becomes the victor will leave with their live and who ever lose has to give me their soul and will be trap here as my servant forever and you guys will be give the gem", "ok we will choose you two contenders to your sick game" said the sheriff, she said "Thank you... Boris", the sheriff had a anger look a his face, she said with a Smirk on her face "I'm guessing they didn't know", "make sure you hurry up ok?" She said annoyingly, Boris stared at her for 5 seconds be for leaving to a room at looks like the lounge but underwater. "Ok hurry up and vote so we can get out of this place" Boris said angrily, "wait how do you know her" I asked, he said "well we were...partners once until I left to find people that would help me save my town". "couldn't she help?" I asked, "yea but she didn't want to she wanted me to stay in this dimension with her for ever so I felt her a note and left" he said, "oh ok so should we start voting" said Gael, "yea come on so we can get out of here", said Boris, "I feel like Trisha should go in sense she's so careless" said Louie and everyone was agreeing, "HEY! I'm not that careless I can be helpful to the group" said Trisha, "yea but you can get in our way or mess something up" argued Yoatzi, "I think Mark should go in the challenge I think he will make it" I said with a grim on my face, Mark said "n-not really I think we should let someone else go". But everyone was agreeing with me so we voted and surprise, surprise Mark and Trisha where chosen for the challenge and it was a water maze they had to get out of there and once they do they win but they had to avoid the shooting starfish if they don't then they lose. so once they started Mark had a lead on this challenge until he got shot by a shooting starfish which meant he lose because of dumb luck Trisha and Mark where head to head until a starfish came out of know where and got Mark, Trisha got out of the water maze safely and Mark was taken to a big tank with a lot piranha's in there after he got dropped in by the mermen the piranha's started riding him to shreds as he screams until nothing was left just the bones and we had front row seats of the torture we where all so traumatized I was tearing up and shaking in fear after witnessing his death. "now here you go the gem you can here for" said the mermaid, after we got the gem we headed out of the blue dimension and to the lounge, the room filled with despair as we all were trying to process what just happened to Mark and traumatizing his death was. "Ok everyone try to pull it together we still need 6 more gems and the ritual" said Boris, *"I felt pain in my chest and I felt like breaking down because at the end of the day I was the one suggested that he goes in to the challenge it's all my fault it's all my fault"*, "y-yea he's right there is not point in grieving we got to stay strong" said Sean, "right so now what should we do?" Said Aaron, "we find the ritual pieces and get the other gem" I said confidently. To be continued...
