I may have mindlessly blurted out those things about loving nothing else but designing at the last minute, but those words still reflect my true feelings.
When Alexander brought up having some sort of distractions and such, I simply couldn't think of anything that could possibly make me turn away from designing. I wasn't really certain why Tristan got involved in the equation either, but if anything, my instructor was just probably worried that I've been goofing around with my friends too much.
"By the way, Sir Alexander, why did you try to go after me to the circus? Did something urgent come up?" I asked, tilting my head quizzically.
"Not really. I just wanted to," Alexander answered with an equanimous smile, stretching his hand out and placing it on my head.
"Eh? You just... wanted to?"
"I'm sorry for not appearing for two days either. I ran some errands and met up with a few clients. I apologize for not being able to check on you."
