In an attempt to save both my image and Alexander's reputation, I hastily apologize for my crude speech and for interrupting their conversation.
Though greeting her normally could make me appear like I'm only saving face now, I still introduce myself and address her formally. Alexander still doesn't look quite pleased, though. I already feel like I'm going to get scolded again later on.
"Forgive my apprentice, Miss Monique. I myself have no idea what she means by babies either," Alexander voiced out apologetically before turning to me with a scorching gaze while I only return an appalled one.
