Jumping from the second floor of a Viscount's mansion may be a bit of a stretch, but putting a lattice window in my room for that reason is also ridiculous.
Alexander must be thinking that I'm some kind of a jungle person. Though it's true that it's unladylike, it still comes out handy especially at times like this. In the end, we're able to leave the manor without a hitch, though we did gather a crowd while we're at it. Unfortunately, it turned out that some maids were looking outside the windows in the first floor at that exact moment we landed on the ground. Because of that, we made quite an image for ourselves.
"Hey, Daffodil, want me to bring a rope next time?" Alexander muttered vehemently, an eyebrow twitching in miff.
"O-Oh, so we can just use it instead of jumping?" I nervously questioned, figure slightly shrinking at his peeved expression.
"No, so I can just tie you up and drag you wherever I go. That'll definitely save me from all this trouble."
