Out of nowhere, a deafening, blasting noise echoed all around the place, which was then followed by rubble and debris getting blown all the way to their direction.
Lewis made haste and pulled Lillian away just before those scattered remains rained on her. Wielding his barrier magic, he then raised his arm forward and shielded both of themselves as the explosion went on.
"Huh?! What's happening?!" she bolted out in aghast shock, her eyes growing as wide as an owl's.
