After bidding everyone back at Ellicht a temporary farewell, Lillian eventually went ahead to start her journey together with Lewis.
Both of them are riding on a commercial carriage at the moment, seated along with a few other people. They need to take this ride in order to get to the other side of the forest where travelling by foot won't be too much of a hurdle.
"Thank you so much for offering to come with me, Lewis. I hope this isn't much of a trouble," Lillian started while looking up to her companion, a hint of concern layering over her smile.
"You're welcome, and it's all good. You're not troubling me at all..." Lewis trailed off before leaning closer to her face, a playful smirk gracing his features.
"You can never be a trouble to me," he then whispered with a deep, smoky voice and a narrowed gaze, making her cheeks flush a shade of pink.
