While Lillian remains nonplussed and silent still after this turn of events, Lewis just proceeds to wrap his arms around her shoulders.
Still driven by his irrepressible whirlwind of emotions, he embraces her tightly, looking as if he never wants to let her go. He then buries his face in her hair and nuzzles his nose in it, taking in her solacing scent that he used to adore.
