" Cassie, let's go!" Macy called her as soon as the class dismissed. She was her closest classmate and also her roommate.
" Wait." Cassie immediately grabbed her things on her desk and carry her bag. It's lunch time now and they should hurry up not to get stock on the middle in the sea of students.
Not long after, they reach to the canteen, there were only fewer of students busy collecting their foods. But just in a minute, many students coming in and it getting more and more.
Cassie and her classmate silently falling in line when the girls scream and gathered into the entrance door. Cassie looked back to see the commotion had just happened.
From the distance, A man wearing plain T-shirt and a faded jeans with some scratches on the knee part walking into the canteen. He has a good body and masculine figure, tightly fits his shirt. His appearance making the girls around went crazy.
Cassie ignored them and choose her meals. Then, They bring their tray full of food and searching for a spot and luckily in the middle part has a vacant table. Macy and Cassie sat down and eat their meals quietly, both of them stop when someone standing in front of them.
" Hi! Can I sit here?" a man wearing a sweet smile asking her.
" Ohh...s..sure." Cassie replied. All of the students keep their eyes watching while they're eating. Some of them gossiping and whispering on each other. She didn't mind and care to them at all. She quickly ate all her food and finishing her cola before fixing her plate and grab her tray.
" Are you done? Why in a hurry?" The man sitting next to her confusedly asked.
" There is nothing for me to stay any longer. Have a good meal. Good bye!" Cassie left him stunned. He looked at the lady walked far away.
" Interesting woman. For the first time, someone ignored my presence. Am I not attractive enough for her?" He asked himself and smirked.
"Macy, who is that guy?"
" He's Aaron Ramsey. A star player, MVP and campus heartthrob." She replied.
" Ahh..no wonder many ladies catching glimpses on him." She thought and nodded at her.
When the class was done, Cassie went on the library to do some research of their lessons. She walked pass in the corridor and accidentally bumped someone on the staircase.
" Ohh! sorry sorry. I didn't notice you." Cassie grabbed all the notes and sheets scattered on the floor. The stranger help her gathered the mess things up.
" Thank you...thank you..." Cassie look up and stared on the man in front of her. " Yo..You???"
" Yes, it's me again, sweetie." Aaron said and smile sweetly staring at her.
" Why are you here? What you need?" Cassie asked nonchalantly and forcefully grab her in his hand.
" I came here to find you." He replied.
" Do you have a thing for me, Mr? sorry but I have no interest about it. Will you please excuse me..." Cassie walked faster as she could to avoid being caught with his fans and misinterpret their closeness.
" I'll go with you!"
" No! Stay away from me. I'm a very busy person!. And I don't have enough time so....back off!." She harshly said to him and leaving him alone.
Aaron smirked and followed her figured disappearing from a far.
" Playing hard to get huh?. okay, Let the game begin..." He smirked sinisterly, turned his back and went to his car then drove away.
LIBRARY....
" Cassie,here!" Macy called her by raising her hand not to distract the other students. Cassie saw her sitting near at the French window. She ran towards her and sit down.
" Why you take so long? I've almost let someone sit your spot." Macy asked whispering on her ears.
" I encountered some troubled when I'm coming here." she replied in low voice.
" So how was it? did you fixed it?"
" It's unwanted person, Macy." Cassie opened her laptop and started browsing. Macy didn't asked anymore. They both busy searching, reading and writing the important parts about their lessons.
After a few hours concentrately studying, Cassie's back soring from a long time sitting on the chair. She stretch her back and walked to the shelves put back the books in categories.
Macy and Cassie returned to their dorm afterwards. In the main entrance of their dorm, a black porch car park. Cassie and Macy walked across to it but the driver seat opened.
" Hi! sweetie!" Aaron greet Cassie and give a bouquet of red roses. " For you.."
Cassie and Macy looked at each other.
"Wow..." Macy's eyes glistened and smile naughtily on her. Macy pushed her towards Aaron and leaving them alone.
" Macy! Wait for me!"
" No, Cassie. I don't want to see the two of you intimately. I might be getting jealous of you." Macy said.
" I..its not what you think, Macy." Cassie defended herself.
Macy smile and said. " I gotta go now. Have a nice date."
Macy was gone before she could react. Cassie turned around facing Aaron and handed back the flowers to him.
" Mr.... What really your intention on following me? Did I've done that misleading you?..Fine! If I did so...I'm sorry... I'm sorry..." Cassie bravely said and now her head a bit to end the conversation. " I've already done apologizing. and that's it! I need to go now." Cassie turned her back and walked away but Aaron hold her wrist tightly. Cassie looked back around him and forcedly removing his hand from hers.
" What? Can you say something so that I can go now." Cassie said irritably. She massaged her aching forehead, thinking how to get rid of this man.
" Ms. Cassie, I just want to get close to you...You know... getting to know each other. I was struck on you, Ms. Cassie. " Aaron solemnly said then giving back the flowers to her again.
Cassie's eyes widened and freeze at the moment. She cleared her mind and get back to her reality.
" Huh!..Mr.... We just encountered for two times and then... Are you insane?" Cassie laugh.
" I'm serious, Cassie... I will show you my sincerity. You go upstairs, now." Aaron pushed her gently to the gate and left the girls dormitory.
Cassie left alone clueless and bewilderedly.
