Chapter 2 - 02 - Where am I?

- My body is weak... so that's the feeling of death? - Wang Feng thought while he was feeling extremely weak. All he could see was a solid black. Did he think he had his eyes open, or maybe he was so weak that he didn't even have the strength to feel his own eyelids? Compared to the strength he had when he was a God, it was as if he had become a mortal again.

Little by little Wang Feng's body's weakness began to diminish, before, he was only feeling alone in a vastness of black emptiness, now little by little he began to feel that his body was touching something. Apparently it was something soft? The feeling was strange to him, since it had been thousands of years since he had had such a weak feeling of touch, and it did not escape his perception. - Why am I recovering? I'm feeling like... yes, like I'm coming back to life... but why? -

As he wondered and tried to understand what was happening, at a very low volume he heard a noise like from a door opening. If it had been anyone else, identifying such a small noise might have been impossible, but Wang Feng had already perfected his perception of his own body to levels that normal humans could not even understand if he showed it. It was like two people who had tongues. A normal tongue could only say what he was eating, whereas a well-trained tongue could even say how many grams of seasoning was used in preparing that food.

Wang Feng's ears fit the second option. In order to practice music on a divine level, he had to train his own body to meet divine needs. Then even with his hearing extremely weak, hearing only an insignificant noise, Wang Feng could still recognize that a door had been opened, and slowly someone was approaching him.

First, Wang Feng was a little scared, as he knew he'd never been so vulnerable, and in case whoever was now approaching was a god coveting his treasures, or his titles, Wang Feng was sure he could do nothing to defend himself. But in the seconds he was thinking, the sensations of his body gradually returned and Wang Feng began to realize that he was lying in some kind of bed, and if someone wanted him dead, it was extremely unlikely that he would lie him in a bed, let alone a comfortable bed like the one he was lying in now.

Suddenly, Wang Feng felt a somewhat icy hand touching his forehead, but before he could care, a loving, crying voice sounded. "My son... please... wake up. Your father and I have no money to send you to a hospital, you've been like this for a few days... please, God, if you exist, help my son heal, I beg you..." After that, the voice could no longer control itself and began to cry.

Wang Feng was lost. He really didn't know what was going on but was trying to get information with what little he heard. Apparently for him, this woman was talking to her son who was disagreed for a few days. - But why does it sound like she's talking to me? Maybe she thinks I'm her son? - Wang Feng thought.

While his body was recovering, Wang Feng gradually managed to feel that the weeping woman was hugging him lovingly and carefully so as not to hurt him. - Does she really think I'm her son? Why does she think I'm her son? - He thought even more confused.

In order to speed up the recovery process, Wang Feng was hoping to be able to feel his own body in order to cultivate his own Cultivation Technique. And after a few minutes, he finally succeeded. Still feeling that the woman was hugging him, Wang Feng began to use the technique that he had slowly developed, so that the woman could not be harmed in any way.

While absorbing Spiritual Energy from the environment, Wang Feng realized something. He had really become a mortal again. Countless acupuncture points and Spiritual Breath Pores were closed in his body, that unimaginable amount of closed points and pores could only exist in a mortal, for in order to advance in cultivation, the cultivator must always open and release points in order to free himself from his body's impurities and always maintain pure cultivation.

Seeing the state of his own body, Wang Feng understood that if he stayed like this for a few more hours, the probability of his death was almost certain. So without thinking twice, Wang Feng entered a meditative state and began cultivating to rid the body of impurities.

For Wang Feng, this was just the most logical action to take in order not to die, but in the vision of the woman he was embracing, this was definitely not something normal.

Nicole was desperate. Three days ago, her oldest son started having a bad time and fainted. Since then, she couldn't sleep anymore. The boy was always very thin and weak, since they never had much money. Whenever they went to eat, she and her husband took some of their own food for their children, but when her eldest son, Andrew, entered adolescence, he began to do this too with his little brother, giving up part of the meals so that his little brother could eat well with the excuse that his growing up was already over while his little brother's was still in progress.

The problem is that now he didn't have the strength to cure himself of this disease he took. "If I knew this was going to happen, I would try harder to forbid him to do that... oh my God, if only we had at least enough money to buy enough food."

While she was whining and crying hugging her son, Andrew, a bad smell started to come out of the boy. Scared, Nicole wiped the tears from her eyes quickly and when she looked at her son, she noticed a black liquid coming out of the pores of his skin. Like any normal person, Nicole looked at it with horror! "My God, maybe this is from the disease? I have to do something!"

Desperate, Nicole got up and left the room in an instant. A few seconds later she came running back with a bucket full of water and a towel and carefully wiped her son's skin trying as hard as she could to hold on to her tears for fear that this black, stinking liquid was not a sign that Andrew would die.

The bucket that when she brought was full of transparent water, now it was completely black as if a slurry was spilled in there. Even though she smelled bad, Nicole knew that if she wasn't there cleaning her son, maybe that liquid could do him some harm, so she kept cleaning him until something happened.

When she was thinking of going to change the water in the bucket for clean water, Nicole looked at her son one more time. Only unlike the last few times, now his eyes, which used to be completely black, were wide open as they looked at her with a light red glow.
