Nero had found himself in a familiar but dark space, a broad zone that resided at the center of his mind.
'Where... where am I? Is this... death?'
He thought while floating around for what seemed like an eternity. Finally, he arrived before a much older version of himself who stood at the center of this darkness.
Knowing full well who it was, Nero opened his mouth to speak but soon found that he couldn't say anything, his consciousness within his mind, growing hazy as after struggling to say something, he soon fell into a deep slumber.
Adult Nero looked down at his younger form, staring at him with a hint of iciness in his eyes, but that soon faded as it turned a bit gentle. He sighed with a complicated gaze which showed a recollective manner only for a few seconds before they hardened.
"It looks like this is it... It's a pity, but I have no choice but to take things from here."
