Chapter 65 - The Beginning of Festivities

The Archduke of Lancaster languidly sips his red wine while looking out from the balcony when he felt the presence of stealth, dark hooded figure skillfully landing on the railing at the far corner of the veranda. The Archduke's gaze remained glued to the sparkling scenery of lights before him, not sparing the intruder even a glance. However, he was expecting him to come. The palace's security seems to be too lax, considering that one of his lackeys managed to sneak inside without getting caught. 

"How did it go?" the Archduke casually asks while twirling his goblet half-ridden with the scarlet liquid. No matter how heavily he drinks, he never gets drunk. Even the spirit of alcohol couldn't even lift his boredom, just like how dull and tedious this party is. If not for his curiosity, he wouldn't have bothered to come to the palace.
