The sisters' eyes sparkled after the bird delivered another parcel in the ground, and it flew right away after it completed the task.
Kate smiled. "It looks like Maxwell is acting like a lover to you," she teased her sister.
Ivy's brows furrowed. "Eh? What makes you think that way?"
Kate pointed at the bundle on the ground. "That bundle over there is a piece of evidence that Maxwell thinks highly of you. That bird never fails to bring you food three times a day. This means he is concern about your well-being, and he is very much affectionate towards you," she noticed.
Ivy smiled in amusement by her sister's teasing remarks. "My dear sister, before you think of nonsense in your silly head, you have to understand that Maxwell also planted a deadly poison in my body. Which means, for him, I can be eliminated anytime," she reminded her.
