*In Ice Resorts*
Recap: After Xiaosha and the rest rescued her Aunt, Xinlan safety and slowly recovered and returned to her cottage but now with extra security. The marriage is temporarily on hold. And Xiaosha wants to discuss the seriousness of this situation with her uncle who is the prime minister of the Water Clan.
(bc of some arguments with her father her uncle was banned from their clan when she was little)
*Prime Ministers Manor*
"My Lady, who knew your uncle would build himself quite a reputation in the water clan!"
Misa looked around in awe at the priceless items displayed in the manor. "When I was young, my uncle would take me to his manor we would talk for hours, I even got into trouble once for sneaking out." Xiaosha looks
up and down at the paintings and the chandelier that dangled above the hall. "This place hasn't changed." Then approaches her uncle. He was tall and had long black with a glimps of gray hair and he had a clothes as if he was a principal of a school. "Uncle." Xiaosha greeted him with a smile.
"Minister Mo." Misa also greeted him with a bow. "Enough enough,Misa I've known you as well as Xiaosha why don't you call me uncle?" He asks Misa. "I know my limits to what I can say I wouldn't dare." Misa responds. As if on cue, mangle Xiaosha's cousin walks in. "Whats with all this commotion?"Not even giving Xiaosha a proper greeting she looks at her up and down with a smug look. Ever since they was little mangle has always walked all over Xiaosha and even her own sisters. She has no repsect for her at least not alone.
"Mangle, don't you notice your cousin has arrived aren't you going to give her a proper greeting?" As if she forgot mangle fake laughs. "Oh how rude of me, hello Xiaosha." "She has come to ask me for a little favor please make her feel at home." Misa already could tell mangle was going to give them trouble. "Again with the over usage of eye shadow, if she wants a black eye so bad I can give her one." Misa mumbles under her breath receiving a nudge from Xiaosha and a glare. "Well I hope she finds whatever she's looking for." With that mangle leaves with foolish pride.
"That girl I don't know what to do with her, I'm sorry Xiaosha." Minister Mo sighs ashamed of mangles behavior. "It's not your fault Uncle."
Pushing what just happened aside Minister Mo escorts Xiaosha to his study to discuss matters. "Xiaosha, do you know how serious this matter is?" Now Minister Mo's attitude was completely changed into seriousness.
"Yes, and I was hoping to get some aid from your advice uncle." *sigh* "Xiaosha this issue with the Fire Clan is more serious than your father ever expected to be." "Your father never took anything serious." *silence*
"Please Uncle, even if I tried I can't handle this on my own any amount of help would do."
Minister Mo thinks to himself silently. "The only thing I can do for you is keep their soldiers on hold for a little while." "Xiaosha you need to understand why there is a misunderstanding with your Clan and the Fire Clan, maybe you should check your fathers study." "I understand, goodbye uncle." Xiaosha and Misa leaves through the front door. and was stopped by no other than mangle. "I have to admit coming to my father for help for your issue is kinda comforting seeing you desperate."
Xiaosha keeps her composer while Misa is ready to snap. "Why do you treat her lady with such disrespect, is it because she's marrying the man you could never get or attempt in your state." "Misa!" Xiaosha beckons to Misa to follow her. "Stop her don't let her leave, slap her!" Mangle yells in command to her maids to grab misa.
Two of them grab Misa arms and bring her forward. Xiaosha tried to stop them. But before mangle could slap her a voice spoke up. "Now now dear sister there's no reason to lower yourself to a maid just for a comment."
In the shadows mangle's brother also Xiaosha's cousin Li Feng emerges. "Let her go." "Yes Young master." They let go of Misa
and Xiaosha quickly tends to her aid. Li Feng
passes through mangle and stops in front of Xiaosha. "Please if you have enough time join me for tea." Xiaosha declines. "As nice as that sounds cousin I have to go home." "Alright."
"My Lady, what do we do now?" Misa asks Xiaosha who seems to be thinking of that matter. "What ever is in fathers study has to include the reason of this situation." "I have to find that book to stop this once and for all even if It means isolating myself for weeks I have to do it." "For my people....."
