After one sleepless night later,it was finally time for class.I kinda dreaded going to class because i barely got any sleep last night talking to jessica all night,but it was the first class of the semester so I had no choice,but to go.Knowing me I got lost again,but by the time I finally got to class there was only one seat to choose from so I sat there."hello i'm Lin" he didn't say anything back "excuse me" "hello" "wow,do you really not want to talk to me?" I yell,I notice that he takes out his headphones, and everyone in the class just stared at me."please be quiet" Mr.Moore yelled "sorry" I said.I see that my desk named Eric let out a laugh,and I spend the rest of the class embarrassed.
"Class please take out the textbooks you were supposed to get when you arrived on campus yesterday" I try to recall the word textbook from yesterday,but know one ever told me I was suppose to get a textbook.I look around and everyone seemed to be prepared except me."hey,can you share your textbook with me?" "I forgot mine at my dorm" I ask Eric "sure I guess" he said hesitantly.He doesn't seem to like me very much,but did share his textbook.After my first class I ate lunch and finished the rest of my class,and then headed to the library.When I arrived at the library I was presented a lanyard and a tour around the library."And here are the kids you will be assisting today" the librarian said.I look around and I see that guy,Eric who was in my first period."oh and Lin this is your partner you will be working with" "Eric this is Lin,Lin this is Eric."
Eric looks at me with confusion,and whispers in my ear "what are you doing here" "i'm working here" "what about you-" "so I guess you two already know each other" said the librarian"i'll be off than,have fun with the kids" so just ignoring him I start with the helping session.I explain everything that I had on my list and watched the kids do there work "excuse Ms.Lin I have question" "coming!" I look at the problem,I was hoping it wasn't any math,but it was,and it was a problem that I have never seen before."um" I say over and over again.The look on the child's face was full of disappointment,but a voice from behind me which was eric explain the problem in a way in which I couldn't understand,but the child who was younger than me could."you know I could have help him without you" "sure you could" "I watched you for 5 minute,and all you said was um" "that was because I was thinking" "sure"
I clean up the extra books the kids left and all of a sudden trip over a chair "woah,seriously how did you not see that chair" eric said "thanks for not letting me fall" "who says I was gonna catch you in the first place" he said with a smirk "hey!" as I hit him with the book "Ouch!" "i'm telling the librarian!" "tattle tale much" "i'm serious" crossing his arms "Please dont tell" "what about I treat you to a meal?" "you seriously fell for that?" "well might as well treat me to a meal because you almost made me late for class" "what?" "Do you not know, remember? You bumped into me" "oh that was you? No wonder you were in a rush" "lets just set this aside" I say "come on i'll treat you l only because your my co-worker"
We walked out of the library and onto the bus.We arrive at the restaurant he wanted to eat at,and the people there were wearing fancy clothes,and order expensive meals.I get a little more worried looking at the menu."hey eric are you sure this is the place you want to eat at?" I whisper "yeah" what about it he says "well it's just i-" "are you too ready to order?" said the waitress.I nod,but still don't know what to order "Eric what about you order first?" he orders everything like he's been here before.I get a little scared for what the bill is going to look like.
The food arrived and the smell was very overwhelming,it smelled so good that as soon as it got here I devoured the meal in seconds "is it good?" "it's not good...it's amazing!" I say "since i'm paying I will go get the bill" "ok" he says.I get to the counter and grab the bill that was almost 300 dollars "um excuse me,but I think you got the wrong bill" i say "no this is the right bill for table 30" "can you please tell me what was on the bill" "The meat is wagyu,which was 280 dollars,and two bowls of beef ramen was 10 dollars each" "um" I stutter "is there a way you could give us a discount?" I ask "I am just a college student,and don't have a job yet" and then Eric comes up behind me "I guess i'll pay then" "you can just pay me back" "fine I guess" i say.
We got on the bus"You were the one that ordered that steak!" "You could have told me the restaurant we were going to" "well you said you were treating me,so I had the chance" I hit him with my bag "why do you keep hitting me!" he yells "you've been bad!" I yell, he grabs my arm and pulls me close to him.I start to blush,and panic "what was that for!" as i push him back "oh it was nothing just teasing you" as he smirks at me "just stop!" "fine".Then the rest of the bus ride was silent.
