Charlie roams the rooftops silently, looking for some sort of crime to stop. In this city most crimes happened close to casinos, so he decides to patrol those areas. Most of the night was relatively uneventful, but at around 4:30 he notices something intriguing. Two people are in a back alleyway. At first it looks like they're exchanging drugs, but once Charlie takes a closer look he notices that the bags are filled with some sort of liquid.
The liquid was blue and shined brightly as if it were a nightlight in a toddler's room. "I've gotta get a closer look..." Charlie thinks. He patrols the perimeter of the alleyway, noticing a thug on both entrances to it. They were holding some sort of gun, which is definitely too much for Charlie to take head on. "I'll have to take them out silently so I don't get killed.." he says to himself, begging to devise a plan.
Coming to a conclusion of how he should do this without getting shot, he gets to the edge of the building right above the thug on the left entrance. Grabbing his yo-yo from his belt, he begins to listen to what the other two thugs are talking about.
"I don't get why the boss needs this stuff. It's just some weird kind of water." A thick New York accent says, trying to stay quiet.
"It's not just water. Apparently it has some kind of power. Our boss gives it to someone else or somethin'. I don't know the whole story." A raspier voice replies. As they continue to talk, Charlie activates his yo-yo and throws it. The yo-yo wraps around the guard thug's throat and pulls him up onto the roof top, cutting off his ability to speak or make noise. Charlie pins the thug down to the floor and slams his head into it twice, effectively knocking him out.
Thinking that this was more silent than it actually was, Charlie stands up, dragging the unconscious body to the middle of the rooftop. Whilst doing so, he hears the other voices pause for a moment until one blurts out "did you hear that?" Panicking, Charlie rushes to the other side of the rooftop, losing his footing for a moment. He falls down, landing on one of the thugs.
Quickly thinking, Charlie swipes the other thug's feet and stands. He grabs his yo-yo again, and prepares to fight them, forgetting about the fact that there was another one with a gun. The thugs stand back up and attack him from both his left and right. In order to fend them off, Charlie kicks the thug on the right in the gut with his right foot, and wraps his yo-yo around the left thug's head. He pulls the thug's head down and swings his right foot over while bending it, making the New Yorker's head collide with his knee. They both fall to the ground in pain.
Charlie looks over to see a gun pointed at him, so to distract them, He throws his yo-yo and yanks the gun out of their hands. He then takes advantage of the size component of the yo-yo, and makes it grow to the size of a basketball. Once it has grown, Charlie throws it at the thug's head, knocking them backward. The other two stand up and prepare to attack again.
As they both surround him, Charlie thinks to himself "it's probably best to knock them out as quickly as possible. I gotta get home soon anyway.
"C'mere, you punk!" One of them shouts. They both rush at him. Charlie does a hand stand and, when they both get close enough, he spins his legs, connecting one his feet to the side of their faces. Continuing to spin, he slams both of their skulls into the brick walls beside them, rendering them both unconscious.
As he gets on his feet again he smiles and chuckles a bit. "Holy crap! I did it!" He shouts, then hears a gun cocked close to him.
"Not so fast, runt." Another voice says, pointing the gun to his head. "You're dead ki-" he gets interrupted by something resembling a card shooting through his throat. He falls to the ground, lifeless. Charlie looks at the body and then up to see a figure standing there. They're wearing a top hat, a tuxedo, and dress shoes.
"Hey, thanks for the help." Charlie says, smiling at the figure. The figure does not respond for a second, then pushes Charlie out of the way, grabbing a few bags of the bright blue liquid. Charlie stands up and looks at him "hey! You can't just push me around like that!" He readies his yo-yo and gets into a battle stance. The figure looks back at him and tilts his head
"Listen. I don't want to kill you, runt. Your heart is in the right place. So just let me take this stuff and leave so I don't have to hurt you." The figure retorts in a darker, yet feminine voice.
"My name isn't runt! And I can't let you take that liquid!" Charlie looks at him "You can call me Captain yo-yo, and I'm going to bring you to justice!" Charlie throws the yo-yo at the figure, who immediately grabs it and pulls him closer.
"Well 'Captain Yo-yo," the figure says, throwing the yo-yo to the ground and kicking Charlie in the face "you can call me Ace. And I bring the justice around here." Ace picks Charlie back up. Charlie tries to throw a punch at them, but they grab his fist and twist it. Ace then knees him in the stomach and uppercuts his now lowered head. Ace runs off, all of the action causing them to drop one of the bags of liquid.
Charlie stands up, holding his stomach "holy crap..." he groans and picks up the bag. The light shines on a card thats laying on the concrete, splattered with the blood of the now deceased thug. Charlie picks up the card and inspects it, using the light to reveal the image on the card. The card has a yellow Ace of spades, and subtext underneath. The subtext reads: "Ace Tech (available at the Bellagio Casino)".
Charlie puts the bag and card in his pocket, then begins to walk home.
