"Do you know where the exact place the last time she came from?" Jung Hwa interrogated, it would be better to work fast knowing the witches they were not ones who work slow and if they don't begin their move now, the witches would use her body for their experiments.
Han Seoyeon nodded, "I found this name card of a bar and I went there to meet the owner, he claimed that Seulgi drank until around midnight and went back he didn't know where but he mentioned that she seemed to go back as she was drunk."
Jung hummed, "Any news about her again after that?"
Han Seoyeon had a glum face when she shook her head, "I exchanged contact number with her parents in case if Seulgi went home but..." she trailed and it wasn't hard for him to fill in the blank of her words.
"I will help you, don't worry." Han Seoyeon looked up to meet his eyes where it gave her an assured feeling. "I can't promise many things but I can promise that I will help you to find her." Han Seoyeon felt him squeeze her hand not hard but gentle and she put up a small smile.
"Please." she didn't have to actually request him, Jung Hwa thought he would have done what she asked without politely questioning him. "But how would we be able to find Seulgi? The police can't find them." added Seoyeon. From what she had heard, the police still wasn't able to find any traces of the missing people which was dire.
"The Associates." Han Seoyeon rose her brows.
"Would they helped us?"
"Not they but I will, I have entered the Associates which mean I have enough authority I could make use of." and saying that, Jung Hwa stood up right when the waiter came with a latte that he took to pass it over her hand, "We don't have time. The earlier we could go to find her is the best." Han Seoyeon agreed.
Without waiting as the time was running short, Han Seoyeon left her motorcycle in a hurry and rode in the car Jung Hwa rode. Inside the car, her hand couldn't help but cuddled around fidgeting as the taking a seat was what make her feel more anxious.
She turned her face to the side where he was sitting at, asking, "What will we do now?" They want to find more clues but Han Seoyeon didn't have the faintest idea where they should search to.
"We will be going to Myeondong first." she nodded, "and I will be acting as a decoy."
"Decoy?" she questioned his words and drew her brows altogether. "It's dangerous." she reminded.
"Yes. It's the most dangerous plan we will be doing but not reckless or stupid and rather fast. How long have your friend been missing?" he questioned.
She looked at her watch to say, "One day."
"And one day is enough for your friend to lose her life in the witches' lair." her hand felt cold from the fact her gave. He then spoke for her eyes to flash at him, "Keep this in mind Seoyeon witches are creatures who uses potions but they are mostly less stronger than half vampires," she didn't know what to make out of the informations and decided to note on her mind. "The weapons they often uses were knifes and as long as you could avoid those it will be fine."
"Will I be fighting them?"
"If the time come but better be save than sorry." he replied and she agreed. There were some fright a little hovering over her eyes but more than that he could sense her bravery. "Don't worry I will not let you be harmed in any way." His words made her happy but at the same time she said,
"You don't have to protect me, I can protect myself so please be careful and focus more to protect yourself." she added, it was her request and she didn't want him to be injured horribly.
"You are worrying about me, sweet cat?" Despite how fast he run his car, he was still able to pull his grin in the tense situation that had her wondered if he was used to situations such as this but it also ease her jumbled nerves.
"Of course, I was the one who requested you and I don't want to see your hurt." and she meant her words that had him chuckled.
"Even if I get hurt don't blame yourself," Though it was for a moment, his eyes that was kept on the road moved to her. A swirl of heat deepened on his black pupils that grew red which she didn't know whether it came from the red lights beside him or his true colored eyes. "I am very happy that out of all the people that stayed in your mind, you picked me up. I hope you didn't forget what I said to you in our second blind date meeting Seoyeon."
It took her a good one minute wondering what he was speaking of when he said, "I wish to marry you."
A surprise went over the girl's black eyes, her red lips that was hidden by the shadow was slightly parted but it didn't hinder his gaze he acquired as a pureblood vampire.
"I know that you are slow but I didn't expect you to be this surprised. Didn't I seduce you enough, Seoyeon?" he grinned...
