Chapter 49 - Disappearance-I

Once Han Seoyeon reaches back home, she took her phone and recalled how she had been called inside the hotel. Going through the series of phone call history, the number she saw was an unknown number. Who had called her? She didn't know the number and there had never been once when she saw the particular number. As the night was close, Han Seoyeon chose to think again in the next morning and feel asleep.

On the other side of the night about an hour and half before Han Seoyeon went back hime, the darkness was silent and stale, wind that came and go to blew some wind sang a night melody for the people who came out to roam at the time that belong to the night creatures. A certain couple came out from a small pub in Myeondong. The woman had a beautiful face and with the body tight dress she wore every eyes couldn't stop ogling at her and her partner was a young man with a glasses.

The man slide his hand up to her waist and the woman chuckled right next to his ears to whisper, "I don't think I can hold it anymore." said the woman with an alluring tone that made the man gulped.

The dress the woman wore had a round opening near her chest and every time the woman rubbed her breast to the man, it emphasizes the cleavage that they man was unable to move his eyes anywhere. "But the hotel is still far." the man said brushing his hand for the ring he wore on his left to shine.

"I don't mind doing it outside." the woman grinned, her hand pulling him closer and pouted, "Or you don't want to do it with me? I guess you are thinking of your wife."

"No, no." The man didn't want the woman to be saddened and lifted her chin, "Of course not how can you compare to her?" and the woman had a smitten smile after his words.

"Come with me." urged the woman and the man abidedly followed her steps. The couple walked and walked only to a deeper and narrower alley as the man was slightly drunk he didn't find it odd at first but soon he spoke,

"Where are we going?" asked the man.

"I just forgot the path a little don't worry." the woman said when the man's had pushed her behind to the wall.

"Let's just do it here." the man leaned closer and had his face buried on her shoulder. Feeling the sensation there was a smile that creeped to her face dropped coldly.

The woman rolled her eyes, "This is why humans are so gullible and stupid." she sighed before the man was able to comprehend her words, he felt a slash of cold strumming to his neck. The man stumbled a few steps back holding her neck where the skin had tore and blood spurted out all over the woman's face.

Basked in red fluid, the woman held her smile widely as the man collapsed forward lifelessly. As a witchess, she loved to see death especially when her body was soaked with blood as it give her pleasure better than ever. Death is frightening to humans but for her it was a beautiful existence an end that she loved to see.

"Finally? I've been waiting." said another woman who from the top of a wall jumped down to the ground in front of the woman.

"This isn't fun I can't see his frightened expression because he was drunk." said the woman wiping off the blood from her face and used her feet to turn the man's face.

"Don't be rash, Yul remember what happened last week to our target? He almost ran to ask for help fortunately Dowan was there with us or else the Associates would find out about us."

"Tch." Yul, the witch clicked her tongue having an expression that wasn't satisfied with the lack of frightened expression that the man gave. She wanted to see more blood and the expression twisted on a human's face as they were about to die but for the last few days she was unable to enjoy her murderers as the mistress had told her not to kill unless the victim had been intoxicated to lessen the danger of anyone finding out of their deeds.

"But why are you here, Hana? I thought the mistress had assigned you with a mission. Something that have to do with vampire.." Yul tried to recall the order their mistress gave when Hana filled her blanks, saying,

"The one held in the wedding party. The mistress said it would be a good chance to show both vampires of how frightening our existence are and to human, it would be a good chance to know the night creature called Vampires." There should be happiness on Hana's face but Yul saw nothing on her face instead she saw the gloom and irk over her face.

"And something bad happen?" asked Yul with one of her brows crooked.

"Yes, the transformation from vampire to hollowed was unsuccessful and instead the Associates catch up to our tail and now the mistress is very angry and demanded for ten human sacrifices." Hana said with a sigh.

"That is odd I remember perfectly yesterday how our potion to the vampire work well but why not now?" Yesterday the two witchesses have went to hunt for a defenseless vampire and potioned the man with a needle soak in the solution to see the man had their eyes bright red and rampage. It was successful and they had used the same potion as for why it didn't succeed, the two witchess couldn't understand.

"I wish I could know so I could appease mistress's anger but we still don't know anything. Fortunately she wasn't that angry because of the new book you found yesterday else, I wouldn't know whether she would ask for only ten human sacrifices."

"Help me to bring this one." when Yul asked for a hand, her face suddenly scrambled. Her skin like an old skin of paint on a wall began to peel off from her skin to show the cracked features of her real face.

Her eyes was black in color dilated and the white spot outside her eyelids was yellowish. The corroded teeth have began to show up along with her skin that wrinkled like an old woman in her nineties to erase all traces of the beauty face she had earlier. There were bumps all over her skin and when the woman smiled, it looked unbearably disgusting that one couldn't help to wince.

Although the Witchessess had a face like ladies in their early twenties in truth, they were much older than that. The witchesses have always lived under the dark, hidden amongst both humans and vampires to plan for a triumph over the two creatures...
