[Congratulation, Ms. Han. You have been accepted in the company to fill the position of the secretary. Please reply to the mail as soon as you have read the contract to discuss your works.]
Han Seoyeon started at the screen of her phone unblinkingly. She pulled herself altogether quickly and slide her hand to read the content of the email. "No way!" Han Seoyeon raises her voice in delight. She had been accepted from her fought work interview! It the interview in one of Korea most-sought company, Altar Cooperation!!
Happily, she quickly went home, skipping some of her steps jollily that she forgot her initial problem due to her over happiness. As a high school graduate, searching for a work in a company is the same as drowning to a Sea with an unending dark bottom. Due to this, Han Seoyeon have always say "yes" to any work she could have because to her no matter how small her work is, it's a blessing from God.
That evening, after Han Seoyeon had replied to the email of the company, she quickly called her little brother that she doted on the most. When she heard the call go through, her voice blossomed, "Yo! My little dear adorable brother! Guess who is this?"
Han Seojun chuckled. "Nuna, are you drunk now? How much beer did you drink?"
Han Seoyeon shifted her eyes to the beer can beside her laptop and humped. "Gees! Your not adorable I just drank a can you know. More importantly, do you have money right now?"
Han Seojun who was working at the convenience store this late at night didn't want to burden his older sister and nodded to give her a white lie. "Yes, I have what's wrong?"
"Don't be too petty with your money, alright." Han Seoyeon warned. "You're still young so go out and have fun. But things that you like, take a breather, and relaxed yourself. Cooping yourself and prostrate to study isn't good."
"Yes, yes, yes." Han Seojun replied with a chuckle. "You worry too much."
"You're my only little brother after all how can I not worry about you?" Han Seoyeon asked back and added. "I sent some pocket money for you, so use it well for your weekend."
"No!" Han Seojun rejected with a following sigh. "Nuna, you should use your own money for yourself. More than me, you need time for yourself. Also, I don't need the money."
"I'm your older sister! Let me worry for you and don't reject you older sister's kindness!" Han Seoyeon laughed and added. "Anyway, your sister is going to work tomorrow, don't forget to take a rest, sleep and don't strain yourself!"
"Alright, Alright." Han Seojun replied obediently, making Han Seoyeon to smile happily. When he ended the call, Han Seojun stared at his phone and gave a hopeless smile. "Let's work hard today too." The boy murmured to himself before resuming to do his work.
On the other hand, Han Seoyeon after ending the call with her little brother, she recalled her ordeal with Jung Hwa and called her best friend.
"Seoyeon? So What happened?! did that man ask you to be his queen or something? They did say the richer the person the crazier they are." Wan Seulgi asked worriedly.
Han Seoyeon laughed at her words before giving a sigh. "That's Not it, he didn't ask me to become his Queen but something else more surprising."
"What is it?" Wan Seulgi interrogated keenly. After her question, Han Seoyeon told her the story of the day, what happened to her and how she get a confession from the man.
"Then, don't tell me he really fall for you?" Wan Seulgi asked while rubbing her chin and sang a hum. "Well, Seoyeon, you're beautiful so perhaps he really fall for you? Not that I can disagree with him. If I'm a man I would also want to choose a woman like you."
"Is that suppose to be a compliment?" Han Seoyeon asked and laid her back to the bed. "What should I do now? In any case, should I tell him plainly that I'm not you? Perhaps that way, he would rethought of his opinion and reject the marriage meeting first."
Wan Seulgi felt her heart fluttered from her best friend's words. Almost sobbing she replied to her friend. "I swear you're such a good friend, Seoyeon!! I will chose you over a man!"
Han Seoyeon chuckled. "Stop saying that. In any case, I agreed with your condition to help you and I already receive your payment so I will make sure he would reject the marriage meeting first, the rest well I can just reject his advances."
"You're going to reject him?" Wan Seulgi asked curiously. "What is he a jerk and ugly?"
Han Seoyeon hummed. "Well, he's not a bad person as what I thought first in our first meeting. He apologized for his rude behavior formally, he did also seemed to have reflected on his behavior also he can tolerate 'my' bad behavior when I acted. He is also not ugly, instead he's a handsome man. His eyes is also charming. I don't think anyone would ever see him as an ugly person." Without her own knowing, Han Seoyeon had mixed her praises while describing Jung Hwa.
"Hm?" Wan Seulgi snickered. "He seems like a good man then? Why don't you try going out with him?"
"That's nonsense." Han Seoyeon rebuked.
"Why?" Wan Seulgi questioned.
"Because-" Han Seoyeon paused herself. Because of what? Truth to be told, she doesn't know what she should say after.
"Seoyeon? You're still here?" Wan Seulgi called in question.
"Uh, yes. Seulgi, tomorrow I have to go to work so I think I'll tuck in now." Seoyeon spoke.
"You have been accepted?! Which company? Congrats!!"
"It's Altar cooperation, thank you." Han Seoyeon replied while moving her pillows.
"Then, I'll not take your time anymore. Good night and Bye bye!"
"Mhm." She charged her phone, trotting over to turn the light in her room except for a single lamp light that would help her from her fear of the dark. While looking at the ceiling, Han Seoyeon recalled something and a name unconsciously slipped from her mouth. "Jung Hwa. Hwa. Hwa."
For some reason, his name felt oddly familiar and brought a sense of nostalgia to her.
It was as though, she had called the name many times before in the past.
