"Do you hear me?" asked Han Seoyeon when she received no answer from Wan Seulgi. Her best friend turned her face, her eyes looking away from her to the mirror beside her and saw how her eyes were in the color of red.
Her expression was stunned, she felt weird as if he body was not her own and Han Seoyeon frowned, "Seulgi?"
"Got it! Thanks for cleaning my mess but you don't have to. I will call the nurse to help me and you could go home now. Don't you have work tomorrow?" Wan Seulgi pestered her and brushed her hand aside all while avoiding their eyes to meet.
Han Seoyeon felt odd with the way Wan Seulgi was brushing her away but before she knew it, her friend had pushed her out of the room. She stood in front of the door and wrinkled her lips. Seulgi was acting throughly off and the entire time when she had walked out of the room by avoided her eyes as if she had done a terrible mistake. But Seulgi had gone through a bad experience and perhaps she just need to find a time for herself.
Han Seoyeon walked down the corridor of the hospital to exit the place, her mind was thinking what she should do now that she has saved her friend and she recalled Jung Hwa. The pureblood vampire had saved her a great time by saving her friend's life and though she recall he had claim to want to help her to raise her favor, she still felt a simple apology wasn't enough after he had risk his life. But there was also not many things she could do to return his favor.
While mulling over what she should do, Han Seoyeon went back home with her motorcycle and came back home in less then ten minutes journey. Once she arrived in front of her door, she stopped to see an envelope sticking out of the mail box which was placed bellow the door only a few centimeter off towards the bottom. Raising one of her brows, she pulled out the envelope, flipping one side, she saw a carefully written envelope secured with a blue stamp. Then she turned the other side of the envelope to see on the left corner of the envelope the name of the sender as 'Associates' for her.
This letter writings was once that use in Western Movies and to mention sending a letter was not the way she thought of as there were digitals messages they could use to contact her. Sending a proper letter invitation wasn't something she expected to see.
Perhaps vampires love to follow traditions? Seeing the letter was written perfectly it seemed that they were used to do this. Seoyeon opened the envelope, pulling the letter to read what was written and scanned the words each by each.
To dear Miss Han Seoyeon,
We are the Associates, the organization build to keep peace between humans and vampires. Due to the matter of Miss Gwon we have found out how you have known much about the vampires' society and ask for your cooperation to come and comply to answer the questions we have for the investigation and the peace between us.
Sincerely, The Associates.
Han Seoyeon read the one paragraph letter many times over the envelope, finding the letter was short and brief however, she found there was subtle threatens hidden in the letter. They may have said investigation but she knew that investigation includes to find out whether she was a witch or that she had lend a hand to help the witches. Far more than she thought, she had involved deeper to the world of the night creatures.
Her heart felt uneasy. The world of the night creatures were one that she doesn't know of. But she had no choice. Jung Hwa had warned her what was the consequence if she doesn't adhere to their request. Then she remember Jung Hwa's promise to protect her and her heart felt slowly settled down from the worries. Her smile appeared again despite the worries that she felt. She then entered her room, giving herself the sleep she deserve after what had happened.
"This is the witchess lair. I thought the place would be more grandiose." said a man with a brown hair entering the building which had been abandoned for years. Though it was bright in the afternoon, the place felt dark with the eerie atmosphere the building had.
Pushing the glasses resting on his nose, Deok Ji Hyeang rolled his eyes, "Could they afford a grandiose place as their base without being found out for kidnapping people?"
"That does make a point." said the brown haired man.
"It should." Deok Ji Hyeang clipped. He then saw someone standing in front of the door which lead inside and noticed it was the half vampire, Yu Sheen. The half vampire looked tired, his body was haggard and before he realized the two senior had come, he had been leaned his back lazily to the wall nearest to him.
"Sir Deok, Sir Gu." called Yu Sheen, bowing in respect.
"Jung Hwa is?" asked Deok Ji Hyeang not beating around the bush.
"I-inside sir, Mr. Jung is currently investigating the place." Yu Sheen reported though Deok Ji Hyeang may be a half vampire like him, the man was his senior and also one of the few vampires he respect in the Association. After he replied, he saw Sir Gu and Deok Ji Hyeang entering the place.
Jung Hwa bent his knees, flipping all the pages in the book carefully with a relaxed expression. The potions had been carried right in the morning with the people of the associates under Gwon Jeoknim's order and he stayed in the place to reads the boom whilst waiting for the clean up to end before he could explore every inch and corner in the room.
Reading some books, he found that witches was more than he thoughts. There were types of witches, specialities, and hereditary. There were also some books that he couldn't understand speaking of normal words at sight but in truth there was nothing understandable to read for.
