Han Seoyeon panicked when she saw Wan Seulgi's body limp on the ground. She reached out her hand between the iron bars. Trying to open the door frantically, she noticed that she wasn't able to open it as it was locked with a bolt.
"Step aside." Jung Hwa's voice appeared and when she turned her face she didn't expect him to be there. She quickly move aside and just like the way Jung Hwa had kicked open the wooden doors since they came to the building, once again he kicked the bolt.
For a human it wouldn't be possible to kick down a metal until it broke but for a vampire just one kick was enough to scrunched the metal. Seeing this, once again Han Seoyeon felt as if nature reminded her of how a different creature Jung Hwa and she was.
Once the door was opened, Han Seoyeon entered and her hand took Wan Seulgi's head to confirm that she was breathing regularly albeit a little slow. Bringing her head closer, Han Seoyeon exhaled all her uneasiness and tears began to swell up to her eyes when she imagined what could have happened if she continue to stay at the place with the witchessess she had seen.
"Take her first to the hospital. I don't know whether a human doctor would work but it should suffice for now." said Jung Hwa as he took out his phone and spoke with a tone that Seoyeon had once heard of. A tone to his subordinate, "You have three minutes to come here. I've sent the location."
When Jung Hwa ended the call he turned and say, "I will be going over there once the person I've called come we can go to the hospital." Han Seoyeon have him a nod and when she saw him turned his back, she thought he would leave but instead he bent his knees down in front of her.
His finger reached up bellow her eyes, wiping the rim that grew red from the tears it shed and spoke, "Don't worry, we came right in time."
Perhaps it was because of his warm touch as he rubbed her eyes but Han Seoyeon felt relieved. The corners of her heart which felt very frightened and anxious which she had kept quiet all the time began to bubble up and spread all over her mind. Then a question appeared to her mind. What if she hadn't known Jung Hwa? What if she had no one when Wan Seulgi was kidnapped? Her heart felt as if she had pushed down from a very high cliff to sink down into a sea of ice.
Tears that she had over the rim of her eyes instead of stopping became harder to control. Jung Hwa still with his smile on his face pulled his sleeve and wiped her face to laugh, "What are you doing, crying?"
"Thank you." she whispered with a hiccup. "I don't know what would happen if you didn't help me."
"Shh," he replied her to stop her from crying. He hadn't expected her to cry. "You could thank me later after we have arrived to the hospital."
When three minutes barely moved to the fourth minute, Yu Shen rushed inside the building. A sheet of cold sweats appeared to his forehead. When he was about to enter the building, he had seen something that he couldn't unseen now. It was a corpse of a person or perhaps he should call as a creature.
The creature had no hands and no jaw, as he wasn't born as a vampire who would be fine even after seeing after seeing the gore he almost wanted to hurl. But he didn't have time to hurl! Because scarier than the gore was Jung Hwa's order that told him to come to the building in less than three minutes.
When Yu Sheen agreed to be turned into a half vampire, his reasoning was simple. He wanted to become richer which he did and was ecstatic with the fact that working in the vampires' society bring him with much more money than when he was once a human. His life as a half vampire should be easier than when he was once a human, at least that was what he thought when he agreed to become half vampire and live his first page of his life but never will he thought that it would come the day he would be running to save his life.
As he ran, his eyes were kept all around the building which seems like a place perfect for a ghost to appear. Gulping, he shook his thought away and followed the path until he find a door opened. Rushing inside, he met Jung Hwa who was standing still with his eyes kept on the books and potions on the shelves.
"Catch this." Jung Hwa said toward the half vampire and Yu Sheen quickly waved his hand to take what he threw to see that it was colored liquids in a flask. While wondering what it was and thinking that the liquid looked somewhat mesmerizing yet eerie he then heard Jung Hwa kindly explaining him, "It's the witchess's potions."
It took time for Yu Sheen to process his words. And when he did, the half vampire jumped in surprise, his eyes wide and his hand almost let go of the potions from the witchess like a rabid virus but couldn't as Jung Jwa warned him right in time before he could throw the potions. "Hold it tightly unless you wish to die."
Instead of throwing the potions, Yu Sheen held tight the flasks tightly in his hand. He hadn't heard much about witches but this afternoon when he was told to clean the room Jung Hwa assigned him to, he took his time to read a book regarding witches. It was an old book that describe witches and their power one being to create deadly potions which was why when he heard Jung Hwa had thrown him potions he internally freaked out.
Was the pureblood about to kill him?! If he hadn't took the potion in air in time, he wondered whether he would still be alive now...
