Chapter 2 - Playground

The sun's bright shine pierced Giichi's eyes and woke him up. He was in a rainforest covered by many plants. The pain he felt when he was on deaths door was gone. He patted himself and checked for injuries, yet none was there. Then a voice appeared in Giichi's head.

"Participants of earth, all one hundred of you have been selected to participate in my playground. In the span of one year, you will all have to survive in my dimension."

The message's sudden end caused confusion in Giichi's mind. However, the most confusing thing was the game-like message in front of his eyes.

When Giichi said that in annoyment, the text box vanished into thin air. As he stood up, his body felt light and stronger than before. The amount of excessive energy that was stored up inside him was abundant.

'𝘖𝘯𝘦 𝘺𝘦𝘢𝘳 𝘵𝘰 𝘴𝘶𝘳𝘷𝘪𝘷𝘦. 𝘛𝘩𝘢𝘵 𝘮𝘦𝘢𝘯𝘴 𝘐 𝘯𝘦𝘦𝘥 𝘧𝘰𝘰𝘥, 𝘢𝘯𝘥 𝘭𝘪𝘷𝘪𝘯𝘨 𝘸𝘰𝘶𝘭𝘥 𝘣𝘦 𝘮𝘺 𝘨𝘰𝘢𝘭 𝘵𝘩𝘦𝘯.'

A goal was set, and his motivation would be stronger. He traversed through the dense thickets in search of water and food. When he looked up, he saw trees with branches that were dense and thick. His mind felt like he could jump all the way onto the branches and when he tried jumping, he flew immediately up and landed onto the branch.

𝘛𝘩𝘪𝘴 𝘪𝘴 𝘣𝘢𝘥, 𝘪𝘧 𝘰𝘵𝘩𝘦𝘳𝘴 𝘩𝘢𝘷𝘦 𝘵𝘩𝘦 𝘴𝘢𝘮𝘦 𝘱𝘰𝘸𝘦𝘳 𝘢𝘴 𝘐 𝘥𝘰 𝘵𝘩𝘦𝘯 𝘐 𝘸𝘪𝘭𝘭 𝘯𝘦𝘦𝘥 𝘵𝘰 𝘣𝘦 𝘮𝘰𝘳𝘦 𝘤𝘢𝘶𝘵𝘪𝘰𝘶𝘴.

The tree was taller than the others, and Giichi could see the entire rain forest, as well as a taiga north of him and a mountain east. Giichi jumped down and caused a loud disturbance around him. Giichi's intended actions caused and attracted attention towards him.

The sound of movement could be heard from his back. Giichi turned around and a tiger can be seen mid-pounce. Giichi ducked under and grabbed the tigers two hind legs. He held his breath, blew air from his mouth and swung the tiger towards a tree. The tiger flew and crashed into a tree. The force behind the tiger caused the tree to collapse.

The tiger was breathing, yet it could not move. Giichi found a stick nearby and stabbed it right through the large tiger's brain to end it's pain.

When the tiger died it's stats could be seen in a text box.
