It was pretty impressive, but considering that Leon could use Mana Armor, Mana Shield, and Mana Barrier, it felt somewhat useless. However, Leon already met individuals that could ignore his defensive spells, so such armor was a necessity. Leon's ultimate goal was to create a power-suit, but it would take some time before that happens.
