A kid name Andrew lives in a poor family. Each day they their survival is their priority. Poverty has become a norm in their community and crime became their daily task.
One day Andrew tried to rob a thief, it is a world of survival anyways. When he was able to snatched the thief's bag, he started running away from them. Unfortunately, they were many and at some point he was cornered. The friends of the thief tried to beat up Andrew for what he did and lastly pulled out a knife showing a threat to kill him.
Though, luck was on Andrew's side as policemen were taking a surveillance in their area then came to stop the group of thieves and arrested them. Andrew with bright eyes promised that day that he'll become a policeman.
As Andrew grew older, he joined the police academy to atleast help his family sustain themselves and bring justice to this corrupt land.
He swore that he will protect his people and he will bring peace.
Andrew's parents do not agree with his decision because of their actions. His father is a drug pusher, his mom is a drug addict and his siblings are thieves. He never listened to his family which is why he thought of himself as a different person.
Bright days has come into Andrew's life as he proclaimed he changed for the better good. Yet, in order to sustain his financial problems he secretly rob others to suffice his needs---corruption that is.
Andrew showed great efforts and great performances in bringing peace and order in their community. He gained many rewards as well as benefits. People admired him yet what lies behind that uniform lies a corrupted cop.
A cop who kills to gain money. A cop who rob others blindly to feed his drug craving family.
Andrew knows to himself that he cannot kill or arrest his family for he doesn't want to be separated from them. He love his family more than anything else.
One night at the station, the policemen received reports of protestors wherein a riot is going to occur. Andrew heard that the riot is taking place is their area. He quickly took his uniform and equipment to be ready to subdue or worse, take out the offenders.
Andrew's squad quickly arrived to the location and there were glasses of bottles, bricks and sharp objects being thrown. The loud sound of the roaring power of the citizens gives fear to the military forces.
The riot continued until a citizen started to pull out a firearm and started shooting at the policemen. At that point, Andrew and the rest of them were ordered to take down any hostile in the area and proceed with caution.
Andrew got nervous because he is worried about his family. During the expedition, they were wearing helmets that's why they cannot be easily identified.
Andrew ordered his men to push through and he separated from his squad to look for his family.
In a narrow space alley, Andrew knew he is near to their home. As he was about to turn to their corner, masked men started to grab him and stabbed him multiple times. His bulletproof armor cannot fully defend him from sharp objects that are piercing his body.
Andrew never had the chance to fight back. As he lied down on the dirty streets, the masked men removed their masks wherein Andrew's eyes became wide open.
Tears started to fall down, as he slowly raised his hand to remove his helmet. What he saw was the most heartbreaking feeling he has felt.
Seeing your family stab you to death---Looking at the people you love the most, and protected the most will be the one who'll kill you.
Andrew's pulses were fading and tears slowly went down along with his blood. As his family cried for what they've done. Unfortunate event for the man who only wished good welfare for his love ones.
