Chapter 1 - The Lonely Figure

There will always be a mountain higher than a mountain. But what about the tallest mountain to ever exist? Is there even such a thing in the vast reaches of the vast heavens? And what would it be like if that person was to go to the mortal world? Walking amongst the ants that had plagued the world for thousands of years.

This is the story of the world's greatest Emperor, God, and Immortal. Ruling over every single existence, even heaven itself would have to bow beneath this great figure.

As he walked over to the throne of the heavenly realm, he carried the air of someone that had walked countless worlds, seen everything in existence but had grown weary of such frivolous things. He waited for death every day in his lonely castle as there were no butlers as the metals on the walls wouldn't allow any dust nor rust to happen upon the castle in the vicinity of a few thousand miles if he so wished it.

He reminisced about the times that he had fought in the wars in the lower realms, against the now weak cultivators that still plague the world of their greedy desire for power, money, women, and everything else that they will not obtain because of that greed as the martial path is only meant for the individuals seeking power and nothing else. Money is good to support you on your way to the Dao, but what else can it do?

Can money buy back the lives of the ones that you loved but they had died while you were too focused on your martial path to notice their impending doom? Power is the only thing that will assist you in getting your loved ones back. If you're powerful enough then you can go down to hell and get their soul back, but they will never be the same as their memories have already been erased and so they will never know that you were their son, lover, brother or father.

The art that he had practiced had allowed him to be immortal even against the passage of time and the poisons that even gods fear had no longer bothered him. He didn't suffer from Qi deviation and could just speed through all of the cultivation realms in the heavens.

It took him thirty years to reach the peak of the mortal realm, where Qi was so little that any random cultivator from the cultivation world could just cough and the mortal cultivators would turn to dust. That doesn't mean that all of the cultivators start out as powerful cultivators, well some are if their parents are very powerful figures.

But what use does that have to the man that can't even have children to call his own, as the immortal art prevents him from having children as a curse to walk the realms without being able to impregnate any woman.

He tried experimenting on countless creatures to test and see if they could accept their seed, but it all turned out to be for naught.

The Immortal art also prevents him from counter acting the art. If his soul gets sent to another body, then that body just turns immortal as well, and the previous soul, if it's still there, gets incinerated in the process, so as to not merge them together.

Nobody knows where it came from as there are no records about the technique. If someone tried to write the name down on something, then it would immediately combust into firery flames, and engulf the surroundings as well.
