'Yayyy!' Harper squealed and hugged him. I hugged him after and the boys and Bailey high fived him.
'I'm exited!' He giggled. Then his phone chimed and the blush reappeared.
'Let me guess, Nolan?' River chuckled. Callum nodded slowly while staring at his phone. He texted back quickly and put his phone away.
'How have we been here for and hour and a half and only been on one ride!' He said.
'But I'm hungry now.' River said.
'Me, too.' Harper added.
'I could eat.' I looked on the map for cafes near by.
'Good I'm absolutely starving.' Bailey tapped a cafe on the map and headed in that direction. We got to the cafe and sat outside. Harper and Bailey were ordering food for the group.
'So like, hear me out.' River started to say, 'if Nolan has a crush on Callum and he's sways both ways, wouldn't that mean he has a crush on Bella too because you guys are basically the same just different genders.' He eyebrows frowned in thought. Me, Dieter and Callum all looked at him. He snapped out of his thought bubble.
'Wrong people to say that too, gotcha.' He said while rubbing the back of his neck and giving an awkward smile.
'I think he likes you for your personality.' I sipped my drink and turned to Callum, trying to change the subject.
'Why? Am I too ugly to be liked for looks.' He raised an eyebrow at me.
'No. Because you're related to me.' I smiled back. He narrowed his eyes.
'Cause I saw him staring at you getting all excited about the ride in the line and blushing.' I continued.
'Really?' He hid his blush behind his drink.
'While on the topic of love, how are you and Harper going?' Dieter asked River.
'Good, good. She took me on a date and I really appreciated it.' He explained. I smiled to myself. Then Bailey and Harper came with the food.
'Yes!' River snatched the food from Harper.
'Your welcome!' She hit him around the head with her hand. He looked around at her with puppy dog eyes. She giggled and gave him a peck on the lips. We looked at them with either smiles or raised eyebrows or both. They blushed, River more then Harper. She sat down and ate her food.
'So have you guys put a label on it yet?' Callum smirked at them, probably glad the attention is off of his love life.
'Aha...not yet.' River said awkwardly.
'Do ya want to?' Bailey asked, casually while eating her burger. River glowed red and Harper simply cleared her throat.
'Depends. How does River feel?' She gave him the side eye and stole one of his chips. He blushed like Callum and looked at her with wide eyes.
'Well Riv?' I smiled at him and glanced at Bailey. She smirked at me and looked at River.
'I mean- I....would...be...I-' He stuttered.
'Come on man, you look at her and you think of her as your girlfriend. You liking these thoughts or nah.' Callum said as he stole some of River's chips too. River looked at Callum then at Harper. She looked back and smiled and raised her eyebrows at him. I guess he sort of left the table and just stared at Harper for a moment. Then, he gulped.
'Yeah...' He muttered, his eyes not leaving Harper. I think she was caught off guard beause her smile quickly faded and she stared back at him.
'So what are you gonna do about it?' Dieter chuckled. Harper did a double take at Dieter then looked back at River, who was still in a world of his own staring at Harper. They just kept quiet for a moment until it was almost awkward. Then suddenly and very quickly, Harper cupped River's face with her hands and kissed him deeply. River snapped out of his trance almost immediately, his eyes went wide before he closed them and held her waist. It shocked us a bit at first.
'Damn, not a lot we can do here.' Callum whispered to me. I smiled at him.
'So are you guys a thing now.' I asked when they eventually finished kissing.
'HARVER!?' Dieter gasped.
'Hehe, harver.' Bailey giggled. Callum looked at his food and there was a slight red tinge to his cheeks. I guess he was thinking about Nolan.
'Only if she will take me?' River finally said, his eyes still glued to her. Harper just gripped his neck and hugged him tight and of course he held her in his huge arms.
'Well done gang, we made two people fall in love today.' Callum said, snapping out of his Nolan trance. He held his palms up to the three of us and we high fived him. Then Dieter took his drink and clinked it with ours.
'To Harver!' He giggled.
'To Harver!' We repeated.
