When no one answered Grandma Qing told Zhi xin that she did not call Qing Shan because she wanted to talk to the family first and then she wanted Zhi ruo to know them and then the childrens can speak. She didn't want Zhi ruo to feel pressured to meet a completely new person with his famiky which will make her totally uncomfortable so they were hoping for the childrens to meet in the absence of families.
Finding the reason plausible Zhi Xin nodded. Soon Zhi ruo also joined them and was introduced to the Qing family by Father Zhi. Greeting everyone Zhi ruo was just aboout to sit besides Mother Zhi when Mother Qing lovingly asked her to sit besides her. Getting a nod from Mother Zhi, Zhi ruo went and sat down besides Mother Zhi.
Patting her head Grandma Qing praised her beauty with obvious sadness in her eyes while mother Qing joked for her having the prettiest daughter in law than Grandma Qing. Mother Qing spoke to Zhi ruo about cooking and her hobbies and some other things including shopping and it was realised that Zhi ruo was a very diligent and sincere girl. She answered everything straightforwardly, is fhe didn't knew anything she said no instead of bluffing about it. Thinking that this was the reason that Grandma Qing liked Zhi ruo mother Qing praised her mother in law endlessly in her heart.
Soon Zhi ruo was informed that Qing Shan will contact her and then they can meet up and discuss and further inform their families about their descision. Soon the Qing family left informing that they did not have any problems with Zhi ruo and would be happy if the childrens can also like each other which was the same on Zhi family's side.
Later in the night after dinner, Zhi ruo was called in the study by Father Zhi.
"How did you feel about the Qing family ruoruo?" asked father Zhi
"They are good and approchable., value independence and belong to modern thoughts "
Walking towards Zhi ruo Father Zhi patted her head and spoke slowly
"Ruoruo, will you despice me for forcing my decisions on you?"
Giving a bright smile Zhi ruo told her father that he never forced her, he gave hre chances to choose her happiness and she always followed him and will always do.
Hearing such an answer Father Zhi teared up and hugged Zhi ruo in his arms. She was soo tiny when his wife gave birth to her. She was always a little troublemaker when his wife was alive but after her death she became sensible, quite and matured earliet than her age. He was always scared that she might blame him, blame him for not giving her a rich life, blame him for marrying another woman immediately after his wife's death, blame him that she cannot pursue her dreams, blame him that she was married off to an unknown man, blame him for binding her with the shackles of marriage when he should give her wings to fly......
Soo many blames....Fearing that he might one day die under the burden of those blames he had spent soo many sleepless nights ..But till today she accepted all of his decisions, let go of all her dreams everything....He was such a useless father, no...infact can he still be called her father.....
Looking at her father constantly tearing up and crying endlessly she kept on patting his back while saying "Its ok dad" "Its ok" "I am happy" without realizing that this words were like a deep stab in father Zhi's heart.
