The galactic school is same as always the same, green grass, huge trees, a small playground, and a three storey building of silver and gold.
Shina made a landing on the quartz stairs, slowly walking to that huge double door, shoes clacking. She flipped the hood then gazes at the huge columns, a long red carpet spread across the room then splits in both sides. There are paintings of the gods and their ancestors on the walls and the all rulers of the fair land kingdoms.
She noticed a covered painting at the corner, curious, she slowly reached out of the silk and pulled if from the painting.
Her eyes were wide, she didn't know that there was a family painting of her parents and ancestors, only she wasn't there.
She looked at her mother, who is shining in the painting, still so beautiful as ever, and her father, looking bold holding a golden staff on his left hand.
Shina managed to smile a bit. It was good to see her parents even though it was a painting.
There was this old god standing behind her mother on a faraway corner, wearing indigo cloak, holding a black staff on his right hand, the god has a hair of white, and an ebook black eyes.
She narrowed her eyes to see it clearly, the god was wearing an amulet, a black amulet, almost as black as her gem.
She knows all of her family, but who is that odd god standing right behind her mother. Could it be a friend of the family? Or a family she didn't know?
She had no clue.
"Shina."
Shina squeaked and jumped around to the person who called her. She got goosebumps, her skin seemed to vibrate.
"Great priest? Y-you scared me."
Said Shina, arms crossed.
"Forgive me dear, the gods are waiting for you at the white chamber." He said then flies away. Shina glared at him and rode on her scythe without a word then followed him.
The gods are talking in chorus, no one understands one, they are pointing at each other, yelling, shouting, others almost used their powers at each other.
Shina entered the room, her hands sweating, she tip toed to an empty chair like no one came in. The aura is very confusing, all of them are screaming at each other with only one topic. The Hearth stone incident.
"Ehem..." The great priest cleared his throat to signal them to quiet down, but no one responded, he gritted his teeth and hit the table so hard that it made an angry thunder sound.
All of them fell silent.
"Now that's better. We are here to discuss about the Hearth stone incident... As said, I've invited Guardian Shina to speak on behalf of Black Valley." The great priest said, glancing from god to god.
"Shina dear, quit tip toeing there and teleport yourself here!" The great priest nagged, eyeing Shina tip toeing like a rat trying to escaped a cat, now all eyes are on her.
Shina smiled awkwardly and waved like and idiot, then teleported on an empty chair at the far end.
" Now, anyone wants to sa---"
" You lost the Hearth stone?!!! " a goddess on red robe reacted, cutting the great priest from talking.
The goddess slowly turned to the great priest and chuckled awkwardly as the priest shot her with a sharp glare.
Shina furrowed her eyebrows, and looked down, clasping her hands. She never been around as many gods before, it's new to her sitting next to them too.
"Begin." The great priest said, voice echoing through the columns.
"How did a mere thief break through Black Valley's shield? You casted it yourself, and only your enchantment can break it." A god in white asked coldly.
"I do not know how." Shina answered, not looking at the gods.
"Who was actually on guard of the stone?" another asked, arms crossed.
Shina froze at the question, she can't just mention her servant's name to them, and there's no way she will. She promised the gods to run Black valley 'herself', and if she breaks a silence about her workers, who knows what is the next penalty.
"I have always guarded the stone, like I promised,l that I'll run Black Valley myself." Shina snapped, turning her head to that god raising an eyebrow at her.
"Then why did you lose it?" a goddess in pink asked venomously, starting at Shina like she was melting her.
Shina sighed in frustration, she didn't expect that a meeting could be this horrible, they keep asking questions like they are threatening.
"I was busy at the land of the dead." Shina breathed, throwing out the heat in her.
"See great priest, that's why we shouldn't have minor god to manipulate two places at once!" a goddess in pink snapped, raising her voice.
"Natalia, " A god in purple called, "Calm down."
"Calm down?" Natalia asked in a rough tone. "The universe's ancient stone, that my great great uncle found centuries ago is stolen! okay?!" She roared, standing and banging the table with her fist. She shot Shina a sharp stare, while Shina just looked at her coldly but calm, like nothing happened.
"I should been running Black Valley right now, But instead he passed it to this-this mere minor goddess here! Who is supposed to be locked in planet of prison."
Shina blinked slowly, and grinned at her.
"Mere? Minor?" She mimicked, head shooked. Shina's temper snapped, no one had called her a minor before, even mere. Blood boiling, she rose from the chair and darted her eyes at Natalia, shooting glares at her. Shina gripped her scythe, glancing god to god.
" Perhaps we haven't known each other yet." Shina said cockyly, " I am Shina, Queen of the land of the dead, Guardian of Black Valley, goddess of Shadow and death!" She boomed, her voice cold, and double.
"The haven is intrusted to me and so is the stone... I rule over Black Valley! I will take care of the problems from this day and onwards. I don't need your nagging!!" Shina yelled, as her gem glowed to red, she disappeared without a sight, the table cracked and the gods covered their eyes from the painful light.
