Lu Chenjun nodded and he walked back to the car with Elena.
"Was that your dad?" Elena asked although she knew the answer.
Lu Chenjun moved the steering wheel with one hand and used the other to hold Elena's hand, "Yep, don't worry about him. He may seem like he doesn't like you, but he probably does. He listens to my mom about everything, and since my mom likes you, he won't say anything."
Elena giggled and asked, "So your mom has the highest position in the family?"
Lu Chenjun nodded and his grip on Elena's hand tightened a bit, "In our family, you will have the highest position."
Elena smiled and leaned towards Lu Chenjun to plant a kiss on his cheek. This was the first time in a while she had taken the initiative, and Lu Chenjun was dumbfounded for a second.
The next second, a huge smile worked its way across his face and if it weren't for the fact that he was driving, he would have kissed her straight on the lips.
