The euphoric cheers of the audience could be heard in all the stadium.
"LADIES AND GENTLEMAN! ITS TIME FOR THE GRAND FINALS!" Said a man wearing a purple outfit who appeared in the middle of the stadium.
"MY NAME IS PURPLE HEAD! AND I WILL YOUR HOST AND CASTER FOR TODAYS MATCH!" Shouted Purple Head.
"PURPLE HEAD! PURPLE HEAD!" Shouted the audience.
"WITHOUT FURTHER A DUE, LET'S PRESENT THE TEAMS!"
The lights turned off and, from the southeast side of the stadium, five figures appeared, all of them had the same green and white t-shirt.
"THE TWO TIMES CHAMPION AND THE FAVORITES OF THE TOURNAMENT!"
"REPRESENTING EUROPE!"
"TEAAAMMMMM INVICTUSSSSSSS!"
"WOAHHHHHHHH!" The audience went crazy.
"AND ON THE OTHER SIDE!" Shouted Purple Head.
On the northwest side of the stadium, five men wearing the same red shirt appeared.
"THE TEAM WHO HAS DOMINATED ALL THIS SEASON'S PRO CIRCUIT!"
"THE STILL UNBEATABLE!"
"REPRESENTING ASIA!"
"TEAMMMMM GOLDEENN DRAGONNNN!" Shouted Purple Head.
"DRAGON! DRAGON! DRAGON!" Shouted the audience.
In the middle of the team, a young man stood out from the rest. He had red eyes and a full tattoo of a dragon on his right arm.
"OF COURSE! WE CAN'T FORGET THE GREATEST PLAYER OF GOR, THE ONLY PERSON WHO MANAGES TO REACH THE BARRIER OF 10,000 POINTS!"
"DRAGON!" Shouted Purple Head focusing on the man.
"OH!! DRAGON! YOU ARE THE BEST! GO BEAT THEM!" shouted a young girl, looking at her mobile phone.
"Why are you shouting so early in the morning?" Said a young man with while tapping his ears.
"Look! Look! Brother! Its Dragon! Its Dragon!" Said the young girl while showing her phone.
"Who is Dragon?" Asked the young man.
"How can you not know the greatest player in GOR?"
"GOR? Again, with that game? Charlotte" Said the young man.
"You just don't get it, brother! I already told you to play with me, hehe, don't underestimate your little sister, I will carry you" Said Charlotte with a smug smile.
Noah smiled at her cheeky little sister and patted her.
"How about this great carry go and change that she is going to be late for school"
"Stop treating me like a child, I am fifteen already!" Shouted cutely Charlotte.
"Then stop behaving like one and get ready" Said Noah with a chuckle.
With frustration, Charlotte went to get ready to school.
Noah looked at her sister and sighed, he went to the kitchen and prepared their lunches. Then, he double-checked that everything was in order.
"Okay, everything good" Said Noah.
He went to the living room and turned to look at a picture.
In there, a man and a woman could be seen, both were smiling while making a peace sign; just like Noah, the woman had brown hair and green eyes, the man, on the other hand, had black hair with blue eyes.
"Mom, dad, we are off" Said Noah.
It's has been a couple of years since both of Noah and Charlotte parents died in a car accident, it was a fatal collision with a bus, the only survivor was Noah, at that time, his sister stayed at home with his grandmother because she was too little to travel.
"Although, I didn't survive in one piece" Said Noah while touching his left eye.
"Brother! Let's get going~!" Shouted Charlotte.
"I am going~"
Like this, another normal day of Noah and Charlotte began.
Their high school was Ferminan's high school, one of the best high school in their city, of course, like everything good, it cost a lot, fortunately, Noah was a pretty diligent student and he managed to get a scholarship and using the money that his parents left behind, he pays Charlotte's part.
"Although the money won't last forever" Though Noah.
The classes went as normal, Charlotte had extra actives so, while he waited for her, he liked to study at the library.
Noah found an empty seat at the library and opened his books, however, just as he was reading a math problem
"Come on Ghost! Kill that bastard!"
"I told you! GOR is the best E-sports ever!"
A couple of students were watching a mobile phone while talking.
"Again GOR" Though Noah with annoyance.
GOR or Guardians of the Realm was the most popular E-sports nowadays. E-sports had replaced traditional sports such as soccer or basketball in the world. Child and Adults enjoyed the fierce fights of the game, of course, there was a cause for this.
"VIV" Though Noah
Virtual Integrity Vision, it was what makes E-sports so popular, it's was created at the beginning of the 22 century, it's a technology that projects what's inside a computer or console in your mind and, basically, you fuse yourself with your character.
"Of course, technology is not so advanced to experience virtual reality, but the sensation is basically the same" Though Noah.
The VIV helmets alongside with the optical keyboard make it look like the players were actually one with their characters and the crow could also join the action while entering in the game.
"But I just don't get it�� Murmured Noah.
He wasn't so keen to E-sports, in fact, he didn't like to play virtual games at all.
Well, he did have one game that he actually liked. He took out a small deck from his pocket. The cover of the cards was black with small curved lines on them.
"Yu-Gi-Oh, one day, you will be great again" Though Noah.
His father used to like Yu-Gi-Oh with him when he was a child. After his father died, he grabbed his deck and had it always with him.
"It's one of the few memories I have of him" Though Noah.
He looked at the sides securing that no one was watching him and shuffle the deck.
Then he drew one card.
"Let's see what my luck will be today" Though Noah.
The card that he drew had a red dragon in it with red and green eyes.
"Odd-eyes pendulum dragon? Now that's rare, I never draw this card" Though Noah.
"Well, since it was father's favorite card, I guess it will be a good day" Said Noah.
As for why did he did this now and not early in the morning, it was because the day of Noah was just beginning.
He had to go to his part-time job.
