He patted her shoulder and said,
"The story that follows involves the female protagonist writing a book that is turned into a movie. But a few years later, she still hangs herself at home to be with him."
Wen Xian nodded without saying much else.
Then she followed Sister Ling into the car to rest.
This time, however, Sister Ling noticed that her mood was very subdued.
Indeed, Wen Xian's inner world was supremely oppressed.
Perhaps it was because she had become too deeply immersed in her role and couldn't step out of it, or perhaps, the plot had reminded her of someone.
Sister Ling saw that her eyes were red and her mood sorrowful. After bringing her a hand warmer and some hot water, she left to give her some quiet space,
"Xian, take a good rest. Now that the filming is over, we can go back."
Once she left, the car was engulfed in silence again.
Wen Xian leaned back in her seat and closed her eyes.
