The last three stages of the Beast Spirit Codex had always been a source of heartache for Xia Fei. When he first found this comprehensive tome on exotic beasts, it stated that, when he cultivated all nine stages, he could tame all the exotic beasts of the world and become capable of summoning a vast and loyal army with a raise of his hand.
Alas, that codex was incomplete. He had only six stages, with the final three missing. This was why Xia Fei's cultivation of the Beast Spirit Codex had remained at stage 6 despite all the time that had passed.
