The next morning.
Li Zheng, while brushing his teeth, followed his usual routine and headed to the door.
His gaze was immediately drawn to a large red box on the shoe cabinet.
The box was about three to five times the size of a shoe box.
In the center, there were two golden characters written with a brush.
"Dragon Boat"
Below it, in a slightly smaller golden bold font—
"China's First Manned Space Flight Commemoration"
Li Zheng was stunned, and his toothbrush dropped to the floor.
He hurriedly wiped his mouth, wiped his hands on his pants, and then nervously stepped forward and opened the large red box.
Inside was an unassembled satellite model.
Li Zheng excitedly picked up a few pieces to examine them.
They were heavy, likely made of copper.
Each piece was wrapped in clear plastic, not even unsealed yet.
He then opened the accompanying illustrated book.
"October 15, 2003, at 9 o'clock sharp."
