"I'm gonna make that delivery today like my life depended on it chief!" The delivery man beamed.
"Haha nice to hear your enthusiasm, we don't have insurance so be careful," the old man gave him a thumbs up with an innocent smile.
"Sure chief," the delivery man hopped into the front of the truck and started the engine.
The man saluted the old man 1 last time and then drove off from the warehouse.
The old man shook his head and went back into the warehouse with a can't say I didn't warn you look.' Strangely he had a smirk as he closed the large warehouse doors.

The delivery man hummed as he drove through the home district, he stopped at a stop light to let a school bus through.
The light finally turned green and he took off down a slight slope that led to the merchant's area, the driver was coming to 4 way intersection when...

'Huh?'
He thought he heard a bell ring in his ears.
He fondled his hair confused and then ignored it, he kept on driving when he noticed a student on the sidewalk who was about to cross some meters away when the light turned red.
He smiled and put his foot on the breaks to slow down, however he actually did the opposite and vehicle began accelerating as if his foot was on the acceleration paddle, his eyes widened in fright and he began sweating profusely as he tried stepping on the breaks continously and trying to stir the wheel but he had no control.
*Vroom!* *Vroom!*
The engine roared and the headlights turned on by itself as if 2 eyes were narrowed solely on it's target.
"NoNoNooo!?"
The driver began screaming has he held onto his seat, his hair flying back as the Truck accelerated forward out of control.
The student not even paying attention had his head deep in a book studying as he began crossing the street.
"AAAAAaaaaAAAAA!?"
The the delivery man shouted as he held the wheel again trying to stir and honk the horn, that's when he reach the middle of the intersection and driver's eyes became blinded by another vehicle that was already coming from the side, and that's when it happened...
*CRASH!?*
A huge sound reverberated as the 2 trucks collided, the delivery man's truck was the one that was damaged as the other truck rammed into the side sending him 3 feets into the air, the delivery truck landed and rolled to a stopped with detrimental damage done to its entire interior.
The truck back was crush inwards, 2 wheels were missing and the front part was completely crush as it lay on its side.
The other truck of course had fatal damage has well but not too much to deem it undriveable.
The student who was crossing shivered when he heard the crash and widened his eyes in utter fright when he saw the crash ensued.
He ran to the otherside of the roadside out of harms way and became an onlooker with the few other people that were there to witness the accident.
The driver from other vehicle hopped out of his truck, tipping his hat up with widened eyes, he then made his way over to the damaged delivery truck and began prying the door opened.
Other men in the crowd surrounding saw what he was doing and went to help.
"Oh dear!"
"Did you see that!"
"How tragic!"
Gossip ensued from the onlookers.
The men had finally pried the door opened actually tearing it off the hinges as it became weak from the impact.
The other driver smiled when he saw that the delivery man in the truck was okay, however his head was bleeding. The men then all made the decision to get him out of the seat, the delivery man was lucky he had his seat belt and safety bag on.
The men carefully got the driver out, then a woman came from the crowd and suggested to help the delivery man medically, she lay his head on her lap and began treating him with her emergency kit, she was a trainee nurse.
After treating the delivery man, he gradually began to wake up, he was still in fright at first then calmed down and smiled slightly at the lady he saw when he opened his eyes, the lady smiled back at him comfortingly.
While this was going on the headlights of the damaged truck that was flickering all this time began to giveaway, one of the headlights was broken so it went out first, leaving the other 1 that was cracked simply blinking for life but of course it could no longer continue as the truck's engine lost its muster... the final light went out.
"...."
'Ahh. So this is it for me?'
'Tsk just where did that other bastard truck come from anywayyys HUHH!? am I thinking right now!?'
'How am I hearing myself think? is this.... conciousness?'
'Wait where am I!?'
The truck gradually lost conciousness until....

He opened his eyes to a dark cloudy sky, thunder and lightning danced under its covering as heavy rain poured down on him as he lay in a wide grass field.
The boy with soaked black hair and black widened eyes looked up with an unrecognizable expression.
