"You will be leading them. Get ready. You will out of the Palace, right now." Peter ordered a batch of twelve soldiers. The head guard, to whim the order was given, nodded. Andrew was watching all of this. He was trying to process the information given to him by Peter.
All these things were surely pointing towards Belgonia but, there was still a doubt lingering. Whether they were going to find the culprit or not. The only hopes were to find her or at least find the traces of her, if Maya was to leave before they arrived.
As soon as, Peter finished talking, Evan entered the grounds. Everyone bowed towards him. Evan slightly bowed to Andrew. He scanned the area and saw that batch of soldiers ready to go. He stepped forward and spoke "Find her. If she is not there, find her traces or anything about her. I either want you to return with the culprit or with solid evidences of her. Understood?"
Evan looked over to the soldiers, who shouted a high pitched "Yes!" in chorus. He nodded towards Peter, who gave them the paper, which had the order given by the Emperor.
"Long live Seazle empire!" the batch of twelve strong soldiers shouted in unison and mounted their horses to go to City Belgonia.
Everyone were watching he receding soldiers with different expressiona in their eyes. Evan with hope and ferocity. Peter with ferocity and hate. Andrew with luck and hope to find the culprit of the empire.
From his balcony, which would be facing the front of the Palace, stood Alexander, the Emperor with stupor and watched the soldiers with an unreadable expression. Felix, who was beside the Emperor, watched the thing with confusion and uncertainty.
Aeinshia, who didnt go to her room, instead stood at the entrance of the grounds, which was the entrance for the people coming from the inside of Palace. She silently watched the whole commanding and soldiers going on a mission. She was still unaware of the truth but, guessed it was to find someone, who had to do with the murder, from the speech of the prince.
She did not show any emotions towards the receding soldiers, instead she watched Evan. She could only see his back from the position she was standing. Even though, it was his back, she could see how tense the prince was being.
He didn't know whether it was professional stresses or personal things. One thing she was sure, it definitely affected him in personal way. And it affected him in a way, that has to do with her. Somewhere, she was the reason for it all.
She may sound paranoid for thinking like this. But, she can't help it. Think, when your love has guilt and regret clear as daylight in their eyes, how would you react or what would you think? Certainly, not positive. She was going through the same phase.
She wanted to face him, ask him what's wrong but, its all easier said than done. He was not a ordinary person, he was a prince. A cold one at that. An intimidating one. Evan would surely won't hurt her, in any case. "Well, he may not physically but, he can mentally. By his words and actions." Her thoughts were going haywire and were going out of her control.
She didnt want to see or think about the negatives in the situation. And judging the situation or one's feelings without knowing about it in detail, would always go in wrong direction.
But, no matter, how much she convinced herself, she could not muster enough strength to face Evan. She felt like she is guilty somewhere. What if he was just stressed about this whole murder and she imahmgined the whole thing? She would sound like she was accusing him for what Evan didnt even do.
Then, Evan would definitely misunderstand her motives. What if he wasn't even in love with her. In the past, he was. But, this was a new one. Already, things in this life are a bit different and are changing constantly. What if he fell out of love with her? Was he not in love with her anymore? Was he even before?
She shook her head, trying to get rid of those horrible thoughts. "No. Evan loves me. I saw his love clearly the other day in the gardens. Then, why was he behaving like that?" she thought and then suddenly chuckled to herself.
"So, this what people experience when they start a relationship." she thought to herself. She was about to get married to Evan in her past life but, their bond was not that strong. They both loved each other. But, there was a lot of corruption and miscommunications.
After her return from loosing her chastity, not only the whole empire but, her relationship with Evan was also affected. He still loved her and she reciprocated it. But, they were not on those lovey dovey terms. They were just there, loving each other but, not expressing themselves to each other.
Whatever were the circumstances, their love never wavered for each other. Even when Evan got the news of the murder of his father by his love Aeinshia, he didnt knew what to think. He loved those two people with his whole heart. Hell, his father treated Aeinshia as a daughter. He even thought of Aeinshia more than his own children. the news was literally unbelievable for him.
Then there was Aeinshia, she was left alone without anyone. Her uncle was dead, her father and brother were taken into custody as well. People who insulted, now insulted and degraded her even more. The only person she wanted the most at that time was Evan. But. he wasn't there.
They loved each other, more than they could ever love anyone on this face of earth. But, their love eventually turned to longing. A longing which never subsided, until one's death.
All these memories bought the pain, she tried so hard to forget. The pain was reflected in her eyes and the result, fat tears started to pour out of her eyes. She already experienced the longing for love once. And now, the events was slowly morphing into that but, only this, earlier.
She was not up to it. She made a mistake of not standing up for herself or confronting people in her past but, not now. No matter how much she felt guilty - even if she didnt knew what was reason for such behavior - or the fear of asking Evan, she would ask him. This time they would show their love for each other, not silently long for each others love.
After all, no relationship is perfect. Even the match made in heaven or the soulmates have their own obstacles. Its the two involved in the relationship, who make it perfect, not the ones matching them.
All the main people in the grounds were now turning around to head to the Palace. Aeinshia was startled by the movements and wiped away her tears, erasing any evidences of her crying from her face. When she saw Evan, he was talking to Peter about something.
She deemed it was not the right time and she had to speak to him personally about all this. He certainly wouldn't open up but, she wasn't going to give up on him anytime soon. She wasn't going to repeat all her mistakes.
With a deep breath, Aeinshia turned her heel and started to head towards her room.
She looked up to the horizon, the sun was now dull color of yellow and red. Soon, the night was going to fall, to give privacy to two lovers, who first time were gonna really talk to each other.
While gazing the beautiful sun ready set, Aeinshia blurted out the words that were circling in her head.
"We love each other, Evan."
Taking another baby step to improve their relationship. To make sure, they have their happy ending this time around.
