To tell the truth, while using flying pets to conduct aerial reconnaissance is indeed an excellent method for scouting enemy movement, it is only suitable for observing large-scale military maneuvers like those of the Yuan Mongol cavalry. However, it offers little assistance against Martial World masters akin to solo BOSS enemies.
After all, on a large map, it is perfectly normal to spot one or two humanoid creatures.
From a distance, it's difficult to discern whether they are players, NPCs, wild beasts, or even powerful super BOSS enemies.
Moreover, Martial World masters are often elusive, easily evading detection from the skies. If they choose to hide and remain still, they become almost impossible to discover in a timely fashion.
