Upon hearing Ye Weiming's request for volunteers to loot the body, Knife Sis was the first to claim disinterest. Although her defiant tone was weaker than it had been before the fight, it didn't hide her lack of energy.
Turning to look at her, Ye Weiming saw that Knife Sis had stood back up straight, but was still gripping the blood knife in her hands, and hadn't returned it to its sheath behind her back.
This was definitely not in line with her habit of trying to look cool by sheathing and unsheathing her weapon!
With a puzzled glance towards her right hand, Ye Weiming noticed that the knuckles of Knife Sis's fingers were slightly pale, and her whole arm was slightly trembling.
Could it be that she currently doesn't have the confidence to put back the blood knife back to its sheath?
