Since it's a guide, it's impossible to write it in full detail as the original book.
Basically, it only records the main story, and even then, many parts are vague.
It's not that Yin Bukui is withholding information. It's that a normal reader wouldn't remember every detail of a book's Inner Strength, and if they did, they wouldn't be an average reader, but a die-hard fan who could flip through the book back and forth.
Yin Bukui didn't have that level of depth, hence the guide he wrote was concise. It took Ye Weiming less than an hour and a half to read through it.
Of course, part of it was thanks to the "Shadow of the Sword God" which even made reading and calculating twice as efficient.
