The song was enchanting, as if it had a sort of magic to it. Even Ye Weiming, who typically didn't enjoy listening to music, found himself drawn to the sound, unconsciously making his way towards the direction it came from.
Sometime later, the two came to a halt atop a cliff.
Looking down from their high vantage point, they saw a valley nestled between two mountains, a winding river at its base. Using their inner strength to enhance their sight, they could see the river's clear bottom and the details of the fish playing in the water.
Next to the river was a red lacquered pavilion made of wood. Inside, a woman in white with a light veil on her face was leisurely playing a zither. The beautiful, melodious song was coming from her.
