When Ye Weiming said his treasure sword was gone, none of his four teammates in the room doubted his words.
Even Non-Fish, who loved to pick fights for no reason, said sarcastically: "It's hard to imagine that someone as sly and cunning as you could slip up."
Ye Weiming didn't get angry at his sarcasm, but was rather bewildered by his attitude: "You seriously don't suspect that I could use this as an excuse to run off with this top-grade equipment?"
Non-Fish shook his head: "It's not that I have faith in your character, but I definitely won't underestimate your intelligence. If an opponent I couldn't beat even with all my wit wanted to scam equipment, using such a clumsy excuse, then what does that make me? A moron?"
"Thanks for the compliment."
Non-Fish felt a strong urge to hit a wall upon hearing this. He was just trying not to appear less intelligent than he was. How did it turn into complimenting Ye Weiming?
