Shiha shield the little boy in her arms.. To save little boy, she pushed him to the side but also shield him from getting hurt.
Shiha fell down with the little boy in her arms. Shiha hug him tightly.
As both fell down.. The little boy didn't get hurt, as he was secured in shiha's hug. But shiha's arms get many scratches and her elbow was also bleeding..
But shiha didn't mind it. Her whole attention was on the little boy.
The man standing on the side too run towards them.. He was surprised by shiha's move.
Just now, when he was passing from the second floor of the restaurant with his brother, he listened her saying that 'she wish all must die' but now.. She didn't care about her life and run to save the little boy's life, who is totally a stranger to her.
Shiha gets up the road.. She also helped the little boy.
She looked at the boy from top to toe.. To make sure he was fine..
She gets relief. She took a deep breath. "hey.. Little man, how can you run like this?"
From the side a lady came running towards them.. She immediately hug the little boy and Carried him in her arms..
The lady was breathing heavily.. As she came running..
"aahh.. Thank you.. Thank you so much to save my son's life." said the mother of the little boy.
The man standing on the side saw that shiha's elbow was bleeding.. He came forward towards shiha and gave his handkerchief to her.. "your elbow is bleeding.. Your arms are hurt too"
Shiha look at the man.. She took the handkerchief from him and thanked him.
"Thank you."
Than she hold her elbow and kept the handkerchief on the wound.
When shiha looked at man, the man too saw her. And right now he was able to get the full view of shiha's face..
He thought, he had seen her somewhere..
She turn towards the lady.. The lady was still bowing and thanking her..
Shiha stops her.. "oohh.. Its nothing. But be careful next time.. Don't let your son's hand go. Hold it tightly"
Than she looked at the boy.. She pinch slightly to the boy's cheek and said.
"hey.. Little man, you too hold your moms hand tightly.. Don't run around carelessly. Ok. Don't make your mom worry.."
The little boy nodded..
Shiha smile at him and said..
"you are lucky, that you have a mom, who cares for you. And you can hold her hand."
Shiha sigh.. Took a deep breath and thought.. 'unlike someone..'
The lady smile and thank her and said..
"Today, in this world they are rare people who cares for other's life.. The way you run and saved my son's life.. Indicates many things about you.."
The lady took a glance at the side of shiha and saw a man.. She was amazed by the look of the man.. He was soo.. Handsome. The lady also saw the scene, when the man gave his handkerchief to the woman who saved her son's life.
When took a glance at shiha and than at the man.. She thought.. 'both looks so beautiful together.. Perfect couple.'
So The lady looked at The man, smile at him and said.. "you are lucky to have such a beautiful wife, who cares for others more than her life.. I hope you keep her happy.."
Shiha and the man were shocked.. How come they suddenly become the couple, that also a married couple... Shiha looked at the man with a blank face.
Sheng Ruihan was shocked too.. With a change in event.. He frown and gave a look to shiha.. Till now he was just standing at the side.. How come he suddenly come into the scene..
Shiha gave a awkward smile to him and turn her face towards the lady..
Before she speaks anything the lady said. " you both are so good.., i think you son would be a lucky child. To have such a great parents."
She raise her brows.. "oohh.. You might have some misunderstanding.."
Before she complete her sentence the lady cut in..
"oohh.. Man,you should immediately take your wife to the hospital, before the wound get infected."
Shiha sigh.. She know, its not useful to explain.. So she bid goodbye to the mom and son.
As she took a step ahead.. She noticed the man, than she glance at the handkerchief in her hand..
The pure white handkerchief was now turn into red..
Sheng Ruihan, standing besides her.. Note every thing.. He was amazed by shiha.. But still he didn't get.. Where he had seen her.
Before shiha says anything he said..
"its ok. You can keep this handkerchief. And if you don't mind then i can give you a ride to hospital."
He thought, if shiha can save a life, then at least he can help her to the hospital.
"aahh. No thank you. And sorry for.. What happened.. I think that lady misunderstood us."
Sheng Ruihan nodded his head in understanding.
But deep down he fell sad.. The question was.. Why. But he don't know...
Both came back to the restaurant side.. Sheng Ruihan saw the way shiha was walking.. He said.."Have you sprain your ankle."
Shiha gave an awkward smile.. And said. "hmm.. I think so.. But not that bad."
Assistant An brought a car. When he saw his boss is standing at the side that also with a girl. And he was surprised to see the same girl.. Who came in front of their car, He immediately come out of the car.
## STORY ##
The Marine'S Father:
A nurse took the tired, anxious serviceman to the bedside.
"Your son is here," she said to the old man. She had to repeat the words several times before the patient's eyes opened.
Heavily sedated because of the pain of his heart attack, he dimly saw the young uniformed Marine standing outside the oxygen tent. He reached out his hand. The Marine wrapped his toughened fingers around the old man's limp ones, squeezing a message of love and encouragement.
The nurse brought a chair so that the Marine could sit beside the bed. All through the night the young Marine sat there in the poorly lighted ward, holding the old man's hand and offering him words of love and strength. Occasionally, the nurse suggested that the Marine move away and rest awhile.
He refused. Whenever the nurse came into the ward, the Marine was oblivious of her and of the night noises of the hospital – the clanking of the oxygen tank, the laughter of the night staff members exchanging greetings, the cries and moans of the other patients.
Now and then she heard him say a few gentle words. The dying man said nothing, only held tightly to his son all through the night.
Along towards dawn, the old man died. The Marine released the now lifeless hand he had been holding and went to tell the nurse. While she did what she had to do, he waited.
Finally, she returned. She started to offer words of sympathy, but the Marine interrupted her.
"Who was that man?" he asked.
The nurse was startled, "He was your father," she answered.
"No, he wasn't," the Marine replied.
"I never saw him before in my life."
"Then why didn't you say something when I took you to him?"
"I knew right away there had been a mistake, but I also knew he needed his son, and his son just wasn't here. When I realized that he was too sick to tell whether or not I was his son, knowing how much he needed me, I stayed."
