Chapter 2 - Chapter 1

Laying down and staring at the starry sky in the location he found himself he couldn't help but wonder why he had never noticed such a beautiful scenery and concluded the reason why was his youthful and eager enthusiasm the last time he was here. He got up and turned to face the figure patiently waiting at the end of the space he was now in. staring at her he never imagined they'd meet ever again after all. She was a person everyone got to meet only once in their entire lifetime, or so they thought. Staring into her eyes he took a deep breath and smile as he said, "Hello Astrid". Surprised at how the person whom she just met knew her name she stared at him and concluded that it was a feature available to only those with the mark of God or humans as they called themselves. Astrid uniqueness came from her race as she was among the very few that transcended all human understanding or Angels in short. Beings who served under God himself and even their weakest possessed far more power than anyone could ever grasp. Deciding not to bother anymore about the introductions she began explaining to him the basics which he already knew; the classes in mediators' story had been classified into three categories and these categories represented a village in which you would belong depending on the class you chose. Each one had a unique affinity and a different specialty in which they were known for. While lost in his thoughts she began; "the world is run by an energy called soul essence and this soul essence exists everywhere. As an essence that runs the very component of the world it is split into three parts Ki representing the body mana representing the soul and aura representing the spirit." Of course, he knew all this after all he was the one that brought up the idea it came after a long argument with carrot to decide what would happen in the world as running on only mana was too mid and only gave boosts to the made class. From what he could remember about them he knew this.

Ki: known as the energy that powers the body takes the shape of channels that connect individual essence cores together. The Ki one possesses grows stronger as the quality of Ki improves, and the main most common method is by training a person's body.

Next is Mana; a pure cosmic energy that occurs naturally in all living and sentient things. Unlike its two counterparts the mana a body can contain is determined by the amount the body possessed at the very moment they were brought into existence. The mana in a body increases by the amount of mana it can carry and unlike Ki the quality of mana in a body Is not used as a gauge for the strength it carries.

And finally, aura; Known as the unique energy possessed by all thing's aura exists as the distinction between all living things as no two people can possess the same aura type. Aura as an energy source can like the two others be increases by improving both its quality and quantity. Due to its uniqueness the cultivation of aura is the hardest among all types.

And to his surprise Astrid had said exactly what he had imagined. Wondering why he came up with such a complex technique he couldn't help but imagine why the world he was in had the same qualities as the game world he was in and the more he tried to wrap his head around it he got even more confused as if his mind was purposely ignoring the thought of what this world may be.

As he tried to figure out what this world was, Astrid then moved on to the topic of classes and which Village/type they belonged to. "Each village had their own specialty and affinity with one of the three different types of energy."

She started with the Salt Lake village; "a place known for its information gathering and hunting skills. Their specialty is their endless techniques and extreme utilization of them in which they use to broaden their skillset. They have a high affinity with the aura type.

The classes available for the Salt Lake village are Ranger, Gunslinger, Hunter, and Summoners."

Next was Baharama; "a village known for its advancement in mage craft and endless knowledge on various aspects of the world. Their specialty is in alchemy and magic item crafting, and they have a high affinity with mana.

The classes available for the Baharama village include Elemental mage, Dark Mage, Druid, Healers, and Necromancers."

And finally, Galles; "A Land built by literal blood and sweat with zero application of knowledge except to their weapons, they are known for their barbaric nature and secluded lifestyle not wanting to get involved with the other villages. Their specialty is weapon and armory forgery, and they have a high affinity with Ki.

Classes in Galles include Warrior, Swordsman, Assassin, Berserker, Ninja, Monk, Knight, Tank, and Lancer."

As she finished her introduction to each class she then proceeded to say, "The classes available for selection aren't limited to just these ones as there were numerous other classes to choose from although these secret classes could only be unlocked when they go in sync with your personal attribute the main feature of this world". Personal attributes, a concept that really made mediators story a behemoth in the gaming world. It was a concept that gave every person their own unique abilities but what made the idea of personal attributes were the fact that they gave players the freedom to be absolutely anyone/anything they wanted to be, and it was separated into 4 types of Class type, Stats type, Skill type, and finally Hero type.

The hero type personal attributes were of course the most common as no one would generally want to pass up the opportunity of being absolutely anybody they desired, who would ever want to pass up such an opportunity. Although the Hero type had the most tantalizing rewards on the long run it was also the most challenging as ranking up quests became harder with each passing level, heck even getting them was as challenging as it gets as people had to face the remnants of whoever they wanted to be and those who lost had to deal with going without a personal attribute unless they somehow came across a legacy ruin and in some way inherit them but inheriting legacies were even harder than the initial method so most people tried their very best in getting them at the very first stage... Unfortunately for him he was also a victim from the tantalizing rewards that came with the hero class and of course his test was not going to be easy seeing as his personal Attribute was recorded as the strongest hero type in the game. Slowly falling into despair over his imminent demise, he began creating his character card but to his surprise the moment his name was inserted the system reacted indicating his character card already existed within the game. ``System alert: a dormant character card containing this name was found within the data base, please confirm if this is you.``, with a yes or no option below the system message he quickly clicked the yes option curious if this was truly his card.

With a huge sigh of relief, he could only imagine the dangers and turmoil he would have faced if he undertook that test. Now normally character templates weren't this scanty as other features like skills were auto generated by the system and some were unlocked after the character had reached a certain level. As his excitement over getting his original card died down another system configuration popped up as it said, ``System notes: User configuration complete, User has been recognized as the 5th hero, benefits of the 5th hero will now be included in your Character profile`` Before he could even react to the system message what he saw after left him speechless…
