"Big Brother, are you sure you're not coming to the masquerade ball? Chloe asked
"Sorry, there are a few important things I have to do on that day." Ciel patted her head. "Look after Kate and make sure she doesn't act like a pig in front of the buffet."
Chloe gave him a wry smile as she nodded her head.
Kate was seated beside the two of them and only gave a snort to Ciel's comment about her "table manners".
The three children were eating inside a cafe found in Saint Claire Academy. Although the Founder's Day Masquerade Ball was still a few weeks away, the academy was starting to have a festive vibe. Everyone was looking forward to the event, and some students even asked for some tailor made clothes just for the masquerade ball.
"I'm very curious," Kate said after taking a sip from her ice tea. "Just what have you been doing lately? Hein- a bird told me that you've been very active during the weekends."
