Annabell smiled at the butterfly that was flapping its wings over the palm of her hand. More butterflies appeared around her and some of them rested on her hair and shoulders. She was standing in the middle of the room and allowing her power to manifest in full.
"You've improved a lot, Anna."
Annabell almost jumped back in surprise due to the voice she heard behind her. She placed her hand over her chest to calm the wild beating of her heart. The beautiful teenager glared at the boy who was walking up to her with a smile on his face.
"Ethan, don't do that again. You almost gave me a heart attack!"
"S-Sorry. I didn't mean to do that."
Ethan looked at Annabell apologetically as he stopped in his tracks. He had only come to the abandoned building to train, like he always did, and was surprised to see Annabell here. Seeing the beautiful girl play with the butterflies made him want to call out to her.
