I could not help but frown at the burn wounds on Brax's cheek; it hurt seeing just how nasty magic truly could be.
Brax let out a low sigh in response to my staring.
'Aria.. staring at it, is not going to make it heal any quicker'. He grumbled.
'I still cannot believe Ray attacked you, while you were about to shift. I bet he knew this would happen'. I snapped angrily.
He towered over me, pinning my back deeper into the mattress.
'Are we really going to talk about Ray, while we are together in bed?'. He growled, jealousy in his tone.
'Your hormones are impossible'. I laughed.
'I just do not feel comfortable knowing that you two were close with each other.. and it is obvious he still has feelings for you'. Brax growled, again.
'Ah but I never slept with him'. I smirked, teasingly running my fingertips down his chiselled chest.
He closed his eyes and bit his lower lip.
