Leroy woke up some hours later with a terrible migraine. The air inside the place didn't seem to be decreasing so he at least had that going for him currently. Getting a better position to check his cultivation over he winced only a little at the touch of raw muscles and nerve clusters.
Overconfident in his Cultivation as a whole and his Body Tempering got to him. it was just the right thing by pushing close to death he came back that he was not invincible. Of course, he planned to test with some sparring but this worked a lot better.
'No sense putting on clothes I have grown back my flesh yet. My Internal Space has grown in size and has a weird outer nimbus all over like a sky. Dantian looks fine but is just empty of Qi for the most part. The Flame Vortex however...'
The Flame Vortex Core was just spinning about at a steadily growing pace. Taking in the various volatile Qi's and growing. Luckily it didn't cause a problem for anything else in his Internal Space but he couldn't draw Qi from it at this time.
It was a weird situation.
No matter how much will was exerted it didn't work. Annoyed Leroy focused on pulling in Qi he could use directly and pulling in the outside debris to refine alongside the Flame Vortex later. Since it was constantly going to refine the volatile Qi anyway he shouldn't miss the chance and threw whatever else he could into it.
*Splash!* The pulled-over pieces came through the Formation and would flatten Leroy if not for them getting sucked into the Internal Space at a certain range. He was running into the same thing as when he placed people inside.
'What the hell or these things made of!?' Living creatures needed a certain range before they vanished completely. Large objects did the same but when he pulled in air and filled it up in a very large volume it did the same. As well as certain types of water like when he was at the Cave during the Test time.
At the speed of the refining, the damaged structure broke down as a large amount of Qi was produced. It rushed into his Flamelighting Dantian and started filling it up.
"Haaaaa!" Leroy let out a pleased sigh as his skin and overall damage started to grow back. "So much better!" Of course, it started to itch like crazy and purple liquid started to push out everywhere. "Ugh, it reeks!"
Pulling in every piece of structure on the outside, Leroy dare not leave anything behind since this material was so good and his current condition was so bad. In about two hours he took all of the debris he could reach and pulled without having to get back into the water itself.
Dressed and ready to explore, he moved around while pushing his Spatial Sense. In his hands, he copied down the Formation onto some paper. It was quite large and took a while to copy correctly.
With each step, the outer mapping also increased. Which led to his next movement downward following airflow in the place.
Heading down some steps and keeping the place lit up using Fire-lighting Body he observed the architecture and looked for any type of writing. Despite being a type of ruin didn't mean it was actually full of anything like that in a way.
A few parts that lead to an open area gave the impression of it basically being a type of large housing. Maybe a type of Official or celebrated person in this society considering how the Formation was still active.
'Housing overall maybe?' Standing in a doorway that didn't have an actual door he looked at all the discarded rags buried in parts of dust. 'No scratches anywhere or signs of fighting. What the hell happened in this blasted place?'
Searching the room revealed nothing of note. So he moved out deeper. Room after room had nothing worth a thing. Not even some antique weapons or books survived whatever happened here.
Making it to the end of the hallway that led to a large room could only attribute it to a type of Main Hall or Ceremony Room. The uppermost area had stone benches that were chiseled out of the structure itself.
He didn't bother to search up the benches since something was finally found in the damn place worthwhile. An actual Book thicker than any Encyclopedia was on a podium. Walking up to it, however, it actually had a skeletal hand over the cover.
*Babump!* Leroy's heart gave a thudding beat as he barely contained his joy. It was an Artifact that was at least stronger than the Cold Trident and a few Tiers weaker than the Monument near the Akademy.
"Here we go.." In a slight whisper, he reached out and pulled the entire podium into his Internal Space but threw it directly into the Flame Vortex Core. It did what he hoped it would do and actually disappeared on the spot and not affected him in any way. "Phew!"
Despite nothing really to indicate a change, Leroy felt the environment freeze over. An out-of-body experience that he only felt once before took place. He was back in front of the Afterlife Backdoor Terminal of all places.
Any defenses he had was not worth a salt to something like this.
"You!"
"Yes, hello again Leroy. You have done well for me." The Giant computer intoned out but he didn't look at it but a few objects that floated about. "You have done well in the Artifacts you have obtained but it is time we cut ways from each other. I can not afford the African Pantheon looking too much into me. Not to mention your troublesome mother."
A weird seed floated about that came from the Demon Plant Nest. Of course, Leroy himself never recovered it actively, and the way he obtained it was troubling to him at this time.
Countless words floated about that he once read over before from the time in the Hamlet and even tried himself. Also, a few trinkets that looked no different than knickknacks on the various people in the Corpse Pit when he was critically injured and had to risk it all there to survive.
An outline of the Cold Trident from the cave and really tiny rocks that he thought were just small Cold Qi Stones were also there. Also, the images of the claws used against him during the Tourney were there.
"You piece of shit!" Dashing at the giant computer he was trying to attack but with no Qi or any power besides his mental body itself, it was a flawed attempt. But human nature was of course unyielding at the weirdest times. "Face me you bucket of circuits!"
"Illogical, I am sure we will never meet again." The Afterlife Backdoor Terminal lit up and vanished from site. As well as the various Artifact and their images. "I look forward to you dying and ending the pursuit of the African Pantheon."
As the light vanished Leroy raged in frustration. Alone was he in this place again but something was fundamentally missing within him. A type of barrier that held back a massive amount of information that now came forth at once drowning his mind in a fog.
"Really sick of overloads!" Gnashing his teeth in frustration, Leroy roared with everything he was in the vast whiteness. Through sheer Willpower and Rage, he pushed through it all. If not for the recent trouble it would have been much more difficult to go through this. His Cultivation in the Foundation Establishment saved his mentality this day. "I will not die here!"
Throughout the ever-expanding white, two figures appeared away from him. The first figure was Destiny itself that took the form of a woman that walked over to him. The golden cloak that dragged on what could be considered the ground had a cluster of stars explode and reform creating new life.
"My child, look at you." The voice brushed against Leroy but of course, he could not respond. It did help soothe him a l little and aide in his fight to remain sane. "Your struggle will yield results, just do not stop."
Throughout the mental body that composed Leroy here a Blue light shined of Fire. A White light shined of Lighting. A few smaller lights were growing but were less developed than these two.
A Black light with a tinge of Gray shined of Death. A Translucent light that seemed to just expand and revert stages represented that of Medicine and Time. Combined and opposing but unable to separate.
"So different from his Spiritual Brother Rexford yet so much to be done." The other figure that was entirely in Black as opposed to the Gold Cloak of Destiny moved over and spoke. It was a Deity of the African Pantheon that was taken by the Unending Army for failing and abusing its duties. "Why do you not act to save our child?"
Destiny's eyes blazed as it looked at its mate. No trace of pity to be felt as the powerful Trifecta-based Deity would not break rules. Especially that would do more harm than good and could not be fixed without the help of others.
"You should leave as he does not want to see you in any form or way." Destiny's words contained enough venom in them that the other looked down at its child before departing entirely. "Do not worry Leroy, you are not alone. Though you can not feel it, you are safe."
Leroy's existence continued to go through this struggle for some time passed what he would understand or could perceive. With lingering traces of overall fatigue when it finally ended he felt hands on him.
The sight before him was enough to shake his very being.
"Mom..." Leroy uttered the one word and then felt himself being shunted in a way. "..no!"
.
Another Goal Added-
.
"!" Sitting up with a start, Leroy's eyes darted around to take in his surroundings. Of course, he did not find anyone else with him and definitely no sight of his mother. "Of course, she is not here. She died years ago the same as the old man!"
Getting up, he was slightly hungry which made sense considering he had been down here for a while. Taking some rations out of his Internal Space he ate and drank his fill before coming to terms with what happened.
'I need to deal with that blasted Afterlife Backdoor Terminal! Then that blasted Deity Jakuta for what he pulled!' Of course, both of them were long standing goals to deal with and he needed to survive this Dimension first. 'Need to deal with the Rebels and that bastard Pin Feng!'
*Woosh!* Dashing out at full speed he went back to the entrance and technical outside area.
The size of the Internal Space was much bigger than this place and the size of the atmosphere was bigger than several Biodomes. Not good enough to dismantle the Formation around the place he settled for pulling in the broken pieces of structure to continue increasing the size of his Internal Space and using for material to help himself.
Using the Fire-Lighting Body to the limit, he shot off to swim upward while taking in the volatile Qi and snatching up everything he could.
